• Responsible for the overall management and technical oversight of an actuarial staff
• Involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity

• Build and analyze sophisticated models for insurance products, investments and/or portfolios to increase company risk adjusted returns.
• Leverage advanced knowledge of actuarial, financial, statistical, data science and/or balance sheet modeling analytics to develop, test and validate models for various functions within the company.
• Support modeling activities on various insurance liabilities, fixed-income assets and derivatives in actuarial systems, including AXIS/ALFA/MoSes.
• Model and quantify risks including equity and interest rate sensitivities, cash flow variability, credit, alternative investment, or liquidity risks.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders from business line valuation, ALM, risk management, and financial/risk reporting etc.

• Serve as credible client-facing actuary on complex Medicare advisory work, including provider VBP, ACO strategy, and Medicare Advantage engagements
• Advise health systems, physician groups, and ACOs on Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) performance, total cost of care (TCOC) benchmarking, and risk adjustment
• Support emerging ACO program opportunities, including the CMS LEAD (Leveraging Efficiency And Driving-quality) model and other CMMI innovation programs
• Manage and direct professional and senior professional staff on client engagements
• Lead workstreams independently, freeing senior team members to focus on business development and strategic oversight
