Accountant

• Responsible for accurately recording all transactions in fund accounting, such as interest, dividends and capital measures for Private Market funds, hedge funds, infrastructure and commodities
• Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements as well as legally required annual and quarterly reports
• Ongoing calculation and valuation of net asset value (NAV), including manual recalculation and verification of fund prices
• Responsible for booking positions and fund movements and for ongoing reconciliation of investment books, cash balances and custody accounts with the respective custodians
• Accounting support throughout the fund lifecycle, such as fund launches, splits, mergers or fund closures
• Participation in master data maintenance as well as controlling fee management and price/publication of prices
• Responsible for professional communication with internal and external stakeholders, timely processing of enquiries and documenting and evidencing services provided
• Participation in IT projects such as release upgrades, automation or optimization of processes, including testing
• Ad hoc projects for senior management.

Fund Accountant

• Acting as an interface to the accounting team as a subject matter expert in accounting/tax and payroll administration;
• Independently manage financial administration for client companies in Switzerland;
• Prepare & review financial statements, handle taxes, VAT, and payroll for clients;
• Managing the closing process and creating financial reports in line with Swiss Code of Obligations (SCO);
• Prepare & review of reporting packages and cash flow statements according to Swiss CO (IFRS & US GAAP);
• Provide guidance/review on transition calculations from US GAAP/IFRS to SCO;
• Collaborate closely with legal and tax advisors to ensure compliance with local legislation and corporate policies;
• Support the team-heads and related team members in complex issues and projects beyond fiduciary services, such as cross-departmental initiatives;
• Prepare/review of consolidated financial statements and handling intercompany transactions / reconciliations;
• Awareness of developments taking place within client structures and to identify possible commercial opportunities;
• Participate in incorporation-, restructuring-, and liquidation projects;
• Possibility to take on the role of administrative board member / managing officer for Swiss client mandates.

Client Accountant

• Preparation of accounting for private equity funds, including capital activity (capital calls and distributions), accruals and investment transactions
• Delivery of accurate, error‑free results on time and within specified deadlines
• Calculation of fees and preparation of the associated schedules
• Review of transaction documentation and related supporting records
• Updating waterfall models to reflect performance‑based profit allocations (carried interest)
• Performing reconciliations, posting journal entries and managing cash balances
• Supporting the year‑end audit in collaboration with external auditors
• Close communication with internal and external stakeholders (specialist teams, auditors, legal and tax advisors) to ensure key deadlines are met
• Careful review of daily and monthly accounting results
