Accountant

• Zorgt samen met het Accounting Team voor de volledigheid en juistheid van de financiële administratie en daarop gebaseerd financiële rapportages.
• Participeert in de Month End Close-activiteiten van het Accounting Team en werkt nauw samen met outsourcingspartners.
• Beheer van het grootboek; afletteren van transacties, opstellen van ouderdomsanalyses en specificaties (balansreconciliaties).
• Uitvoeren van internal controls binnen het Risk Control Framework (RCF).
• Draagt zorg voor compliance met het fiscale wet- en regelgeving (omzetbelasting, Intrastat).
• Vertegenwoordigt het Accounting Team Benelux bij diverse projecten.

General Ledger Accountant

• Receive and verify invoices for accuracy, including matching invoices to purchase orders and receipts.
• Ensure that all invoices are coded correctly to the appropriate accounts and cost centers.
• Process invoices into the accounting system and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring that payments are made in a timely manner.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve payment discrepancies and other issues related to invoices.
• Maintain up-to-date vendor contact information and payment terms in the system.
• Prepare and issue statements to vendors, ensuring all outstanding items are cleared.
• Help in reconciling vendor statements with company records.
• Ensure all invoices and payment documentation are properly filed and retained in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of reports related to accounts payable, such as cash flow forecasts, payment ageing reports, and monthly financial reports.
• Provide support during audits by preparing and presenting requested documentation.
• Work closely with other departments such as procurement and all support Functions like HR, Marketing to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies in billing, inventory, or expenses.
• Monthly Amortization of Expenses for all Prepaid expenses and preparation of Month end Accruals and recons.

Accounts Payable Accountant, Temporary

• Developing and creating balance sheets, profit-and-loss accounts and (audited) annual reports for the SPV’s
• Ensure compliance with Dutch/local GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS and other regulatory requirements.
• Performing and analysing waterfall and derivatives/swap calculations
• Initiate payments through various payment platforms and ensure timely execution.
• Production of statutory accounts for all entities.
• Ensure all other regulatory reporting is timely submitted
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes for all entities.
• Establish and maintain effective internal control systems and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other financial laws and guidelines.
• Working closely with other Financial Account Managers and Company Lawyers as well as with internal departments, external accountants, law firms, tax advisors.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment for the accounting team.
• Collaborate with other departments and teams across Finance and the Business, to support overall business objectives.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure the financial systems are up-to-date and effectively utilized.
