• Maintain accurate financial records for a portfolio of 20–30 commercial properties/entities
• Manage general ledger, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Reconcile all property-level transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Track and reconcile NNN expenses, including CAM (Common Area Maintenance), property taxes, and insurance
• Monitor tenant rent payments, lease escalations, late fees, and additional charges
• Generate and issue monthly rent statements and invoices
• Partner with property management to enforce rent collection policies and follow up on delinquencies

Staff Accountant

• Monthly Accounting & Financial Reporting
• Prepare and support full-cycle financial statements.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Provide variance analysis against departmental budgets and identify key financial trends.
• Review Profit & Loss accounts to ensure proper coding, allocations, and classification across departments.

• Assist with accounting treatments related to SaaS, technology, or recurring revenue operations.
• Partner with internal teams to resolve revenue, billing, or reporting discrepancies.
• Reconciliations, Compliance & Accounting Operations
• Maintain accurate reconciliation schedules and supporting documentation.
• Help manage accounting processes related to fixed assets, including additions, disposals, amortization, and depreciation.
• Support equity-related accounting processes, including stock-based compensation or ESOP-related accounting, when applicable.
• Assist with sales tax and economic nexus research across U.S. states and international jurisdictions.
• Prepare and maintain sales tax working papers and supporting documentation.
• Support year-end close, audit requests, and compliance-related processes.
• Process Improvement & Finance Operations
• Contribute to finance team projects, systems improvements, and operational initiatives.
• Identify process inefficiencies and proactively recommend scalable solutions.

• Collaborate with Finance leadership and department heads on budget reviews and reporting analysis.
• Coordinate with external partners, including Employer of Record representatives, international tax advisors, and external auditors.
• Communicate financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Support internal teams with accounting-related questions and financial reporting needs.
• Work closely with remote, international teams in English.

Senior Accountant, Contador Senior

• Participates in the general accounting function, which includes inter-company accounting, cash management/reconciliation, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
• Assisting in the closing of monthly financial records for Brazil and partnering as needed with Corporate
• Assist in developing policies and procedures to ensure that internal controls are in place to provide reasonable assurance that the company assets are protected.
• Performs technical accounting GAAP research on various topics.
• Execute fixed asset routines, including depreciation calculations, classification of acquisitions and disposals, ensuring integration with the accounting system in accordance with standards.
• Perform analyses and controls of the general ledger related to BRGAAP and USGAAP standards.
• Perform the accounting integration of tax and payroll processes.

• Perform month-end close functions for multiple entities
• Cross train with accounting team on prepaids, fixed assets, and other functional areas as assigned
• Record cash transaction activity and reconcile all bank accounts
• Support financial and tax audits by providing PBC schedules and documentation as assigned
• Ensure procedures are in accordance with GAAP requirements and accounting department policies
• Perform ad hoc analysis as requested

• - Tenant Billing & Accounts Receivable (AR): Set up tenants and recurring charges, process rent and utility billings, apply payments, credits, and deposits, monitor aging and delinquencies, and prepare tenant statements and ledgers.
• - Accounts Payable & Vendor Management (AP): Enter and code vendor and utility invoices, verify approvals and supporting documentation, schedule and process payments, and maintain vendor records and compliance documentation.
• - Move-In / Move-Out Accounting: Post prorated rent, deposits, and move-in charges; process final billings, apply deposits, calculate balances or refunds, and close out units in the accounting system.
• - CAM & Operating Expense Reconciliations: Prepare monthly CAM estimates, track actual expenses, perform annual CAM, tax, and insurance reconciliations, and support tenant communications regarding reconciliations.
• - Banking & Reporting Support: Record bank deposits, generate AR/AP, delinquency, vacancy, and collections reports, and provide support for month-end close and owner or lender reporting.
