AI Engineer

• Responsible for setting the technical direction for PwC New Zealand’s Managed Services capability
• Focus on scalable technology platforms, AI-enabled delivery, automation, architecture, data, cyber and operational resilience
• Acts as the senior technical authority for Managed Services
• Partnering with leadership, client teams, delivery teams, risk and enabling functions to shape, mobilise and continuously improve managed services offerings and client solutions
• Some travel between Auckland and Wellington expected

Technical & AI Lead – Managed Services

• Working alongside experienced engineers on AI‑enabled solutions
• Supporting the development of intelligent applications, tools or workflows
• Assisting with the development and testing of AI, machine learning, or data‑driven solutions
• Contributing to proof‑of‑concepts, prototypes, or small components of larger AI systems
• Working with code, data, and APIs under guidance from senior team members
• Learning how AI tools and models are applied in real business contexts
• Supporting experimentation with emerging technologies such as generative AI
