• Prepare, review, and support Current and deferred tax calculations
• Effective tax rate (ETR) analysis and forecasting

• Provide tax compliance and consulting services for flow-through entities (partnerships, LLCs, S corporations) across multiple industries.
• Work with clients to minimize federal, state, and local tax liabilities.
• Oversee complex tax research projects and deliver innovative tax planning strategies.
• Serve as the primary client contact for all tax matters.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
• Manage multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
• Review work prepared by tax seniors and associates, providing feedback and guidance.
• Train, mentor, and motivate junior team members.

Tax Supervisor – Flowthrough

• ensuring tax accounting matters are timely and accurately addressed
• assisting the tax director with the quarterly and annual income tax provision process under ASC 740
• preparing related tax disclosures for statutory or GAAP financial statements
• maintaining and reconciling deferred tax balances
• researching and analyzing tax developments
• assisting or leading other tax department activities

Tax Manager

• Partner with the Vice President-Tax to manage the state and local income tax compliance calendar
• Review state and local income tax returns, indirect tax returns, estimated tax payments, and extensions prepared in-house and by the Company’s external accounting firm
• Ensure the timely and accurate filing and remittance of all state and local income tax filings
• Assist the Director-Tax with tax controversy matters, including responding to state and local income tax notices
• Provide advice on various indirect tax matters, including sales and use, live entertainment, hotel occupancy taxes, and information reporting
• Review the tax provisions of legal agreements and vendor contracts, identifying potential tax issues
• Monitor developments in tax laws, regulations, administrative guidance, and judicial interpretations; assess their impact to the Company
• Assist the Director-Tax in ad-hoc research projects, including researching federal, state, and local tax issues

Manager – SALT & Indirect Tax Reporting

• Assists in recording transactions in ledgers, prepares trial balances and simple financial statements using computer software program.
• Assists in performing schedule computations of accruals, property and equipment, and calculates depreciation expense.
• Assists in preparation of payroll tax, sales or other local tax and certain personal income tax returns.
• Assists in performance of other tax duties as needed for engagements and as assigned by supervisory personnel.
• Assists in compiling workpapers and other items needed for tax return preparation.

Tax Intern

• Performs diversified accounting, auditing, and tax assignments under the direction of supervisor, manager or partner.
• Prepares complicated tax returns and returns on dissolution or liquidation.
• Suggests client tax planning ideas to supervisor, manager, or Partner.
• Prepares routine correspondence to client for approval and signature of a Partner; writes comments for management letters.
• Supervises staff accountants and assistants with assignments, instructs them in work to be performed, reviews work done and directs necessary revisions.
• Occasional overtime work required throughout the year. Heavy overtime work required from January 1 to April 15, may be in excess of 55 hours per week.

Senior Tax

• Performs technical tax review and approval of all tax returns and governmental tax examinations
• Assumes responsibility for larger tax returns and delegates tasks to various tax preparers
• Participates actively in client meetings and tax planning efforts
• Assumes tax preparation responsibility for more complex business returns
• Manages governmental tax examinations and may represent clients before taxing authorities
• Supervises tax staff and provides on-the-job training

Tax Supervising Senior

• Prepare and review income tax provisions pursuant to ASC 740
• Provide tax provision and tax compliance services for a variety of corporate clients, from start-up ventures to Fortune 500 multi-national businesses
• Serve as the primary client service contact for a portfolio of clients; proactively recognize opportunities to provide additional services
• Manage the delivery of accounting services to ensure technical accuracy and high-quality work product within budgetary and time constraints
• Build on technical competence by keeping up to date on tax law, trends and developments; obtain deep technical skills in the area of accounting for income taxes
• Lead and manage teams of tax professionals: Participate in the mentoring and development of team members; Be actively involved in team recruiting, training, and retention
• Review Associate and Senior work before submission to Senior/Managing Directors for top-level review
• Assist in administrative and operational initiatives as assigned by firm leadership
