System Administrator

• Coordinate the research, design, and operational support of agency-wide desktop and server facilities
• Serve as the central hub for DEQ’s IT procurement and life-cycle management
• Coordinate central purchasing for all agency IT hardware, software, and mobile items
• Research marketplace products, assess competitive vendor bids, manage subscriptions
• Act as DEQ’s Organizational Administrator for the OregonBuys environment
• Oversee and maintain master inventory records for all agency software licenses and mobile devices
• Troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues
• Deploy application security patches
• Support remote administration infrastructure
• Participate in service desk escalation rotations
