Smart Contract Engineer

• Contribute to all Solidity codebases, including upgrade patterns, proxy architecture, account abstraction, and cross-chain messaging.
• Drive rigorous design reviews, threat modeling, fuzz testing, and formal verification to achieve “audit-by-design” security.
• Continuous deployment, maintenance, and upgrades of existing vaults.
• Own end-to-end delivery of new protocol features.
• Manage external auditors and bug-bounty programs; implement on-chain monitoring and incident-response playbooks.
• Represent Veda in client integrations, conferences, and the broader open-source community.

• Own the design and implementation of new on-chain primitives across both Ethereum and Solana, including staking flows, validator orchestration, vault strategies, exit and redemption mechanisms, and integrations with institutional custody.
• Drive the audit lifecycle end to end: scoping, engaging audit firms, triaging findings, implementing remediations, and shepherding code to mainnet deployment.
• Set and enforce the engineering bar within your team: testing standards, review processes, deployment runbooks, incident response, and on-call rotations for live contracts.
• Partner with product and engineering leadership to translate enterprise-grade requirements — custody, compliance, settlement, operational controls — into on-chain designs that hold up to scrutiny from bank-grade counterparties.
• Mentor smart contract engineers on your team and contribute to hiring, code review culture, and career development across the broader smart contract function.
• Represent Galaxy's on-chain work externally where appropriate: with auditors, institutional clients, governance forums, and the broader Ethereum and Solana ecosystems.
• Embrace and champion the thoughtful adoption of AI to improve team performance and business outcomes.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., generative AI, automation platforms, data copilots) to improve productivity, decision-making, and output quality in your day-to-day work.

Senior Smart Contract Engineer

• Smart Contract Development: Design, code, and deploy robust and secure smart contracts that execute seamlessly on blockchain networks.
• Blockchain Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate smart contracts into various decentralized applications, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
• Security and Auditing: Implement best practices for secure smart contract development, conduct code audits, and address vulnerabilities to ensure the integrity and reliability of the blockchain-based applications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other developers, architects, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and contribute to the overall architecture of decentralized systems.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for smart contracts, ensuring transparency and ease of understanding for other team members and external auditors.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide timely support for any issues related to smart contract functionality, addressing bugs, and implementing updates as required.
