• - Security Integration: Embed a security culture into the design, development, and deployment of technical security systems to ensure robust protection against threats.
• - Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk and vulnerability assessments of technical security systems to identify potential security risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
• - Compliance: Ensure all systems comply with relevant security standards, regulations, and best practices.
• - Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, and IT security professionals, to ensure a cohesive security strategy.
• - Security Reviews: Conduct regular security reviews and audits of systems to ensure ongoing compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• - Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of security policies, procedures, and incident reports related to technical security systems.
• - Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats, and continuously seek innovative ways to enhance the functionality of systems.
• - Technical Design and Implementation: Act as a liaison to company's sites and offices in the areas of technical design and implementation of security systems, including commissioning of said systems.
• - Standards Development: Develop standards and guidelines for physical security and security systems for sites.
• - Corrective Actions: Advise on corrective actions to upgrade technical posture of sites through coordination with Facility Security Leads/Security Manager (where one is assigned).
• - Vulnerability Assessments: Conduct technical security vulnerability assessments and coordinate recommendations and implementations of corrective security measures as directed.

Physical Security Systems Manager

• Design, develop, and deliver classroom training, workshops, Train the Trainer (T3) events, and exercises (TTX/CPX/FTX) aligned with the DTRA Chemical Security Program.
• Develop Programs of Instruction (POIs), curricula, slide decks, instructor guides, student materials, scenarios, and assessments using a structured instructional design methodology (e.g., ADDIE).
• Teach a range of Chemical Security topics, including WMD/CBRN concepts, chemical lifecycle management, Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Lab operations, inventory control, fixed site and transportation security, CONOPS/SOP development, sampling and forensics, chain of custody, incident response, decontamination, and consequence management.
• Deliver scenario based, vignette driven training using simulation tools and region-specific examples tailored to partner nation contexts.
• Mentor host nation governmental institutions to build sustainable in country Chemical Security Program.
• Conduct capability and training needs assessments.

Chemical Security Subject Matter Expert – Instructor

• Supporting Senior Security Architects to design resilient architectures across our applications and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), while conducting threat modeling and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks before they disrupt us.
• Partnering cross-functionally with IT, DevOps, and Engineering to bake security into our SDLC and operations via DevSecOps practices, while meticulously developing and maintaining security standards that keep us compliant with ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
• Keeping a pulse on emerging threats to proactively strengthen our posture, evaluating new security tools, leveraging basic scripting (Python, Bash) for automation, and providing reliable support to investigate, contain, and document security incidents.
