Security Analyst

• Own and drive ISO 27001 certification efforts, including risk registers, nonconformities, and corrective actions
• Support SOC 1 Type 2 audit readiness and remediation initiatives
• Lead Quality Management System (QMS) audits
• Support Data Loss Prevention (DLP) initiatives and assessments
• Assist with Vendor Security Management Program activities
• Evaluate and monitor security technologies (e.g., firewalls, endpoint protection, IDS, VPN, MFA)
• Validate system configurations for compliance with security standards
• Monitor server logs, network traffic, and security alerts
• Analyze findings and recommend remediation actions
• Assess and implement security patches, upgrades, or reconfigurations
• Support Windows infrastructure environments (e.g., Active Directory, Group Policy)
• Apply cloud security best practices across enterprise systems
• Maintain awareness of privacy and security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27701)
• Mentor junior cybersecurity staff and collaborate with senior team members
• Independently manage compliance projects and initiatives
• Report project status and compliance progress to leadership

Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

• Conduct complex investigative assignments demonstrating judgement in selecting methods and techniques to obtain creative solutions
• Analyze system-generated indicators to identify patterns that would alert potential security incidents or threats
• Identify, clarify, investigate and (where appropriate) escalate circumstances of concern to incident managers
• Evaluate escalated events of concern identified by junior analysts to determine scope of impact, severity and appropriate next steps
• Oversee the work of junior analysts on shift in a 24/7 operations center to minimize intrusions and expedite threat mitigation
• Mentor, train and assist Analyst 1s and 2s
• Conduct additional discovery and forensic investigations under the direction of incident managers
• Carry out assigned investigation analysis of technology audit recommendations
• Monitor and report on audit remediation efforts
• Provide regular updates to manager on project/account status

Information Security Analyst 3 – 5-yr Fixed-Term

• The Cybersecurity-Staff is responsible for designing, engineering, analyzing and/or assessing key elements of Intermountain’s cybersecurity program.
• Caregivers within this job code will support one of the following aspects of the cyber program: governance, risk and compliance activities, identity and access management, data, endpoint and application security, infrastructure and network security, cyber architecture and standards, reporting and analytics, project management and business liaising.
• Functions with oversight and direction from their supervisor.
