• Investigate, propose, and implement new technologies or processes which improve the reliability and efficiency of automation.

• Perform workflow analysis, document test results and recommend quality improvements
• Apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle.
• Work with engineers to resolve software defects and diagnose/improve product configuration for current and future models.

Principal Software Test Engineer – Automation

• Design, develop, and execute test cases to validate system functionality, data integrity, and end-to-end business processes.
• Maintain and refine automated test scripts using approved automation tools (e.g., Eggplant, Selenium, Katalon, or equivalent automated testing tools).
• Support end-to-end validation efforts across integrated systems, including PLM, ERP, and interface/data exchange processes.
• Support in the coordination and completion of internal testing activities (e.g., smoke, system, functional and regression testing) to ensure timely development completion and quality delivery of software.
• Ensure all testing activities produce appropriate OQE artifacts in support of DoD compliance requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development and functional teams to support resolution and retesting.
• Analyze test results and provide clear, concise status updates and report to the Test Lead.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects to align with DoD validation requirements.
• Assist in building and expanding the regression test suite to support ongoing releases and system changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., QA, IT, business users) to ensure alignment of testing scope, data, and expected outcomes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and quality.

Test Engineer

• Own QA strategy and automation across API, integration, UI, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright/Cypress and Postman/Rest Assured.
• Validate REST APIs, event-driven workflows, database integrity, and AWS services.
• Perform SQL-based database validation across PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
• Ensure testing coverage for audit trails, workflow transitions, and role-based access controls.
• Collaborate within Agile delivery teams and support CI/CD testing practices.

Senior QA Automation Engineer

• Own the enterprise test automation strategy, ensuring automation decisions align with business risk, return on investment, and release readiness objectives
• Deliver scalable, end to end automation solutions that strengthen regression, integration, and cross system testing capabilities across integrated enterprise platforms
• Enable continuous testing by integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines, improving release velocity, stability, and environment efficiency
• Govern automation frameworks, standards, and quality metrics to provide clear visibility into test coverage, defect trends, and overall quality performance
