• As a Product Development Engineer in Nagoya, you will lead the functional and structural multi-material system design for future Robotics and E-Mobility applications from concept to series production.
• Design Engineering: Lead concept, detailed, and prototype design utilizing CAD (CATIA) and CAE simulation data.
• Project & Quality Management: Translate customer requirements into actionable work packages. Manage project schedules (MS Project), milestones, budgets, and lead Design Reviews, DFMEA, and PFMEA activities.
• Global Collaboration: Act as the technical bridge between local Japanese key accounts and the global FE engineering teams in Germany, China, and the US.
• Testing & Validation: Coordinate prototype manufacturing, material testing, and product validation.

Product Development Engineer – Robotics, E-Mobility

• Own the end-to-end direction of frontend applications used across convenience-store robotics operations.
• Collaborate closely with business teams to clarify requirements.
• Work with designers on implementation-ready specifications.
• Lead the prototyping → implementation → release workflow.
• Guide two existing frontend engineers as a player-coach while continuing to contribute hands-on.
• Transition from legacy Unity-based application to modern WebView-based architecture.
• Lead the frontend domain, bridging the gap between complex robotics data and intuitive user experiences.
