Research Scientist

• Lead the design and delivery of ML and GenAI solutions for complex, ambiguous, cross-functional problems.
• Define success metrics, validation plans, and pathways to production.
• Partner with product, engineering, and domain experts to translate business needs into feasible technical roadmaps, de-risking assumptions and aligning milestones to outcomes.
• Design online experiments and quasi-experimental analyses; instrument and monitor business KPIs to quantify value and inform decision-making.
• Mentor junior scientists and engineers, share best practices, and cultivate a high bar for scientific rigor, coding standards, and reproducibility.

Senior Applied Research Scientist

• Provide regulatory leadership, oversight, and strategy to a team of Regulatory CMC Professionals in developing global Regulatory CMC strategy and executing submissions related to small molecule, development products.
• This includes preparation of applicable IND/CTA’s, Agency Background Packages, Worldwide Marketing Applications (including Most of World applications), and transfer strategy to post-approval grp. for further submissions occurring within several years post-launch in the major markets.
• This role may also directly support a project in a similar capacity; however, the primary focus of the position is providing direction to the team members that are responsible for developing and overseeing implementation of regulatory strategies, and making decisions that ensure high quality, accuracy, and high likelihood of approval of all regulatory submissions.
• This includes assessing CMC changes during development, defining regulatory requirements, developing CMC regulatory strategies demonstrating sound regulatory insight, ensuring a balanced approach to regulatory risk, understanding the impact to the business, utilizing regulatory intelligence, and incorporating knowledge of the changing regulatory environment.
• Be responsible for proactive and timely communication of regulatory risks, challenges, and opportunities to management to help address them in a systematic and thoughtful manner.
• Develop, execute & provide oversight of regulatory initiatives & strategies of significant complexity and apply exceptional ingenuity to solve problems and mitigate potential regulatory challenges.
• Drive the application of regulatory strategies and concepts across multiple disciplines and multiple organizations, including working directly with Senior Leadership in these areas.

Principal Scientist – Regulatory Affairs, CMC

• Support project teams in completion of clinical research projects.
• Perform duties under the direction of clinical research managers and experienced staff.
• Create, review, and maintain project documentation according to project requirements.
• Work with staff to investigate problems and recommend solutions.
• Coordinate with clients, sponsors, and site personnel to ensure project needs are met.

Research Assistant, Part Time

• Build and improve applied ML systems
• Develop, evaluate, and improve models that help identify customer readiness
• Use behavioral, conversational, operational, and CRM data to analyze performance and improve model quality
• Define offline and online evaluation approaches, select metrics tied to business outcomes
• Independently explore new models and enhancements to existing models
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other scientists to refine problem statements

Applied Scientist

• Lead process transformation across Analytical Sciences production labs, Foundational Chemistry labs, R&D environments, and Manufacturing Quality Services labs
• Map current-state capabilities while operating in parallel with business-as-usual (BAU) activities
• Identify gaps, redundancies, and inefficiencies across laboratory operations and service delivery models
• Evaluate workflows across multiple sites, teams, and laboratory functions
• Develop and implement skills matrices to assess workforce capabilities and identify proficiency gaps
• Align resources, roles, and processes to optimize efficiency and scalability across the network
• Define and analyze key performance metrics, including samples processed per role, non-conformance/error rates, and time per sample
• Leverage data-driven insights to drive process optimization and continuous improvement
• Implement scalable solutions that enhance throughput, data quality, compliance, and overall operational performance
• Design and implement systems and tools to capture, track, and report key laboratory performance metrics
• Establish standardized methods for data collection, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and traceability
• Enable real-time or near-real-time visibility into operational performance to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

Principal R&D Scientist

• Design, develop, and maintain data integration pipelines that enable cross-SYSCOM data sharing and interoperability
• Collaborate with data owners and system engineers to ensure data governance, security, and compliance with DoD standards
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to provide leadership with actionable insights, KPIs, and performance metrics
• Enable real-time or near–real-time metrics visibility for program execution, technology maturation, and funding alignment
• Design and implement Phase III transition tracking tools to monitor technology insertion, operational adoption, and program outcomes
• Analyze transition status, risks, timelines, and return-on-investment metrics to support decision-making across NAVAIR portfolios
• Apply data science methods (e.g., statistical analysis, trend analysis, pattern recognition) to identify, merging technology trends, program execution patterns, and funding-to-outcome relationships
• Develop predictive or exploratory models to support forecasting, portfolio alignment, and strategic planning efforts
• Research and assess new analytical approaches and tools relevant to Navy R&D and acquisition environments
• Work cross-functionally with government program managers, engineers, analysts, and contractors across NAVAIR and other SYSCOMs
• Prepare technical documentation, briefings, and executive-level summaries to communicate findings and recommendations
