Public Relations

• Working closely with the Sr. Director of Public Relations and Sr. Manager of Public Relations, support the health and performance of BOLD’s overall PR program
• Be responsible for directing the PR content calendar for specific brands, focusing specifically on growing brands’ earned media wins
• Write, edit, and pitch press releases and other content to external audiences, ghostwriting for spokesperson when necessary
• Develop and foster relationships with key reporters to support earned media coverage, responding to inbound press inquiries and helping coordinate media interviews as needed
• Build BOLD brands’ reputations as critical players in the resume and career advice space
• Collaborate across PR, content, social media, and career experts in order to generate ideas and identify opportunities to innovate and better engage with target audiences
• Help draft internally-run surveys, and then analyze and share findings with the press

Public Relations Specialist

• Coordinate with the Program Executive Office public affairs office to facilitate the communications between the media, squadrons, industry partners, NAVAIR IPTs and other agencies by providing specialized communications.
• Produce and deliver effective internal and external stakeholder communications using the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite as well as other current industry software.
• Writing to include, but not limited to articles; captions; briefs or documents; presentation and news media strategies to include communications plans and crisis media response planning; media query responses; key messages; press releases; feature articles; talking points/speeches; social media posts; etc.
• Support public relations to include, but not limited to senior leadership interview preparation, media training, event planning/coordination, protocol activities, and engage in promoting or creating an intended public image for individuals, groups, or organizations.
• Participate in development and review process for multimedia and graphic products to include, but not limited to infographics, illustrations and graphics, logos/branding, digital image editing, and publication design.
• Support SharePoint site creation and content management.

• Inform and inspire employees and drive business priorities across the enterprise.
• Develop, implement and measure employee, executive, culture and change communications plans and tactics.
• Be a storyteller: Conceptualize, procure and produce a wide array of inspirational content about our people, technologies, successes and business capabilities.
• Write, edit, distribute and measure strategic and timely business announcements, news items, digital content, articles and videos.
• Serve as a partner and trusted advisor to business partners.
• Develop and measure leaders’ announcements, talking points, speeches, video scripts and speaker prep memos.
• Partner with other communications teams across the enterprise to align on and amplify messaging.
• Support maintenance of internal websites and digital signage monitors.
• Support event content and logistics.
• Support internal and external communications tactics (i.e., executive speaking prep, webinars, town halls, industry events).
• Support social media campaigns to promote strategic business priorities. Ensure all communications plans and tactics are consistent with the company’s strategic vision and reflect the Northrop Grumman brand.
