Product Designer

• Lead the evolution of DonorPerfect's design system to ensure product experiences remain consistent, scalable, accessible, and aligned with user needs.
• Define reusable UI components, interaction patterns, design tokens, documentation, and governance processes that enable efficient product development.
• Identify opportunities to reduce UX inconsistency, visual design debt, and outdated interface patterns across the platform.
• Establish contribution standards that enable designers and engineers to propose, review, and adopt new design system components.
• Maintain documentation and implementation guidance to support long-term adoption and scalability.
• Design intuitive user experiences for complex fundraising, CRM, reporting, workflow automation, and payment solutions.
• Translate complex business requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Modernize legacy product experiences while maintaining consistency across the platform.
• Create reusable interaction patterns that improve usability and accelerate product delivery.
• Use AI-assisted design and prototyping tools to rapidly explore concepts and validate design solutions.
• Define and maintain visual design standards across typography, color, spacing, layout, iconography, motion, and responsive behaviors.
• Ensure products meet accessibility standards (WCAG) and support inclusive experiences for diverse nonprofit users.
• Review product designs to ensure consistency with design system standards and accessibility guidelines.
• Promote best practices for visual design, usability, and interaction design across product teams.
• Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, QA, and other stakeholders throughout discovery, design, and implementation.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure design components are accurately translated into production.
• Present design rationale, research findings, and design system recommendations to stakeholders.
• Mentor designers and promote best practices in design systems, accessibility, and AI-assisted workflows.

Senior UX Designer – Design System

• The Senior UX Designer is responsible for designing intuitive, high-impact user experiences across DonorPerfect’s fundraising and nonprofit CRM platform.
• This role partners closely with Product Management and Engineering to translate complex workflows into simple, effective interfaces, enabling nonprofit professionals to manage donors, campaigns, and reporting with greater speed, clarity, and confidence.
• The Senior UX Designer combines research, interaction design, and visual design to shape product strategy, influence roadmap decisions, and deliver measurable improvements in usability and customer satisfaction.
• Design end-to-end user experiences across core product workflows so that nonprofit staff can efficiently manage fundraising, donor relationships, reporting, and campaigns.
• Translate complex product requirements into intuitive user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs so that engineering teams can build consistent, high-quality experiences.
• Simplify complex data-heavy interfaces so that users can quickly interpret insights and make informed fundraising decisions.
• Plan and conduct user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys, analytics review) so that product decisions are grounded in validated user needs.

Senior UX Designer

• Lead complex bridge engineering efforts from concept through completion, ensuring high technical quality and sound engineering judgment.
• Solve advanced structural challenges involving steel and concrete systems, curved girders, seismic and ice loading, and other specialized conditions.
• Conduct independent technical reviews, including oversight of third‑party designs, to ensure accuracy, safety, constructability, and compliance.
• Promote strong engineering practices and continuous improvement in design methods, tools, quality management, and technical standards across the Bridge & Structures practice.
• Anticipate emerging technical and market trends and help guide investments in capabilities, tools, and services that strengthen Ulteig's long-term success.
• Serve as a project manager or technical lead on bridge and structural projects for state DOTs, counties, municipalities, and tribal entities.
• Develop and manage scopes, budgets, and schedules with disciplined execution and clear communication.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project outcomes.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to support predictable, high‑quality delivery.
• Build and strengthen relationships with key clients, including state and local agencies, tribal nations, and industry partners.
• Serve as a technical win leader on strategic pursuits by shaping win themes and project approach, contributing to proposals with Market and Sales teams, and representing design strategy in select interviews to strengthen Ulteig’s presence in priority geographies.
• Represent Ulteig with professionalism, technical credibility, and a strong commitment to client success.
• Actively develop the technical bench by coaching engineers on judgment, constructability, and client-facing technical communication.
• Contribute to the long‑term development of the Bridge and Structures team through knowledge sharing, training support, and active participation in team culture.
• Foster an inclusive team environment where diverse perspectives are valued, and team members feel a sense of belonging.

National Bridge Design Leader

• Take the lead in User Experience design, developing industry-leading, high-value mobile and web-based experiences to simplify the member plan experience for multiple lines of business.
• Translate consumer insights into design strategies and execution that meet real user needs.
• Serve as a primary point of contact with cross-functional partners in your workstream, ensuring alignment of UX deliverables.
• Play a pivotal role in the progression of our design framework, contributing to the evolution of our design system and interaction patterns by defining, designing, and enhancing high-quality components and patterns for both web and mobile applications.
• Build trust and consensus with key stakeholders and varying senior leaders by utilizing storytelling, user journeys, prototypes, and other UX strategies to articulate complex concepts, customer problems, and potential solutions.
• Create strategic design deliverables such as strategy decks, visions of future experiences and evangelize these strategies across different teams and workstreams.
• Develop and lead workshops aimed at discovering hypotheses, exploring potential solutions, building enthusiasm, establishing shared understanding, and promoting team alignment.
• Ensure that digital principles, standards, styles, design patterns, and renderings are followed and represented correctly.
• Partner with our Insights team to create long-term research strategies and facilitate ongoing discovery and iterative delivery.
• Partner with Content Strategy to continuously drive and improve content, navigation, and site architecture.
