Product Designer

• Act as the primary resource for conversational AI design, influencing and aligning cross-team efforts to ensure an optimal user experience and alignment with business KPIs.
• Own the end-to-end quality of conversational UX design, ensuring flows are scalable, modular, and maintainable to support future business needs.
• Drive solution optimization by analyzing conversational designs and interaction data to identify broken processes and deliver measurable performance improvements.
• Ensure design decisions are technically viable by partnering with delivery teams and translating business needs into actionable, user-centric solutions.
• Maintain benchmarking of core KPIs across features, services, and relevant domain/industry verticals to identify optimization opportunities and uphold best practice.

• Evaluate user interactions and conversation data to uncover areas for improvement, enhancing bot performance and user satisfaction.
• Leverage insights from data analysis to drive continuous, iterative optimization of conversational experiences.
• Stay informed about the latest trends, best practices, and principles in conversational AI design to deliver cutting-edge, accessible, and functional solutions.

Conversational UX Specialist

• Partner with product managers and engineers on every new feature, translating product intent into clear, consistent, and usable designs within the current platform
• Define shared standards for color, typography, spacing, and interaction patterns, and build a reusable React component library that the rest of the engineering team can adopt for new features
• Review the current state of the platform's UI, identify inconsistencies accumulated over time, and incrementally improve and unify it with the design system
• Prototype and ship production-quality React code for design system components and new feature UI, working directly alongside engineers rather than handing off static designs
• Work closely with your engineering team lead, product managers, and domain experts to understand user needs and translate them into effective interfaces for complex scientific data

• Develop & deliver wireframes & prototypes to showcase ideas.
• Interact with users & the Product team regularly.
• Design mobile & web interfaces.
• Work closely with the Product Design team to develop & expand the Design System.
• Collaborate with the PO to shape product vision.
• Empathise with end users; measure & improve experiences.
• Take product design decisions independently.
• Create customer journey maps, user maps & user flows.
• Participate in design reviews & share work with C-level.

• Own end-to-end design across multiple product areas from concept through delivery
• Translate complex product and technical challenges into intuitive, high-quality user experiences
• Balance speed, experimentation, and craft across fast-moving initiatives
• Design for engagement, retention, monetisation, and conversion at scale
• Create and iterate on visual content (image + video) to support product exploration, in-product experiences, and marketing/growth surfaces
• Contribute original product ideas and creative concepts
• Identify opportunities beyond the immediate brief
• Help shape new features and interaction patterns through proactive exploration
• Push ideas further through experimentation and thoughtful challenge
• Communicate design reasoning clearly and confidently
• Defend ideas thoughtfully
• Collaborate effectively with Product, Engineering, and Leadership
