Paralegal

• provide support to the real estate group within the legal department
• support all aspects and stages of real estate transactions
• lead in the preparation, review, editing and negotiation of legal documentation
• contact and negotiate with third parties as needed
• abstract and summarize material terms of contracts
• develop professional relationships with resources both within and outside the Company

Real Estate Paralegal

• Support Chapter 11 matters, including preparation of voluntary petitions, schedules, statements of financial affairs, monthly operating reports, disclosure statements, and plans of reorganization
• Draft and file Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 petitions, schedules, statements, and related pleadings
• Prepare means tests, repayment plans, reaffirmation agreements, amendments, and related filings
• Prepare complete 341 meeting and hearing packets, including trustee-required documentation
• Ensure all required materials are submitted timely
• Communicate with clients, trustees, courts, and creditors to collect documents and move cases forward
• Use platforms such as BestCase and Clio to maintain case accuracy and track progress
• Stay ahead of deadlines and ensure cases run smoothly from start to finish
