AI Engineer

• Design and implement LLM-powered pipelines, including prompt engineering, context management, and response synthesis
• Build and optimize multi-agent orchestration systems where AI components interact, reason, and produce coherent outputs
• Develop and maintain integrations with foundation model APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, and others), managing latency, cost, and reliability at scale
• Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and memory systems for persistent, context-aware behavior
• Partner with the Evaluation/QA Engineer to build frameworks that measure output quality, coherence, and factual grounding
• Collaborate with product and design to translate workflows into robust technical experiences
• Ship production features across the stack, from the model layer to the application
• Monitor, debug, and improve system performance, token efficiency, and guardrails

Machine Learning Engineer

• Collaborate with product, engineering and commercial teams to develop and deploy AI models for real world application in hospitals all over the world.
• Design, train and validate machine learning mono and multi-modal models using state of the art approaches.
• Develop models and derived tools robust to the heterogeneity of operating room environments.
• Own the full model lifecycle including but not limited to data curation, model implementation, training, validation, deployment, and maintenance.
• Development within Proximie environment to enable dynamic model training and performance evaluation while integrating with Proximie’s data lakes.
• Document solutions and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and capability building.

Senior Machine Learning Engineer

• Use AI to write code in Java (backend) and TypeScript/JavaScript (frontend) to develop new features, working across the full stack.
• Make effective use of AI coding assistants and developer tooling (e.g. code generation, review, and refactoring) to increase productivity while maintaining code quality, security, and maintainability.
• Contribute to general software architecture decisions, collaborating closely with the Software Architect and colleagues from SysOps to make the right technical choices and grow our product.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support the reliability of our production systems, applying basic system knowledge to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Analyse and fix defects reported by the 2nd level team.
• Work with the QA team to fix issues found during the software verification phase prior to rollouts.
• Use AI to create unit, performance, and integration tests.
• Work with AI Pod Lead to complete specifications with technical details.
• Analyse user metrics, propose, and implement improvements.
