Hardware Engineer

• Support execution of hardware programs from concept through production
• Track program schedules, milestones, and deliverables
• Coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams
• Identify and track dependencies across teams
• Monitor risks and issues and escalate as needed
• Support coordination of hardware ECO/ECR changes
• Maintain program documentation and reporting

Hardware Engineering Technical Program Manager

• Lead special projects assignments: e.g. NDAA, Agile PLM, W18, etc.
• Lead ERP implementation and transition and configuration management.
• Lead engineering process improvement.
• Lead product regulatory compliance & certifications: Align project scope, goals and schedule to business needs; interfacing with legal and supervising compliance engineers.
• Drive product design quality process: Drive product development quality process & alignment with stakeholder expectations for release/shipment.
• Lead new product introduction: Work with the design team, Supply Chain, and Quality to define and transition new designs into productions.
• Lead product lifecycle management: Drive revenue sustainability process (e.g. Excess & Obsolescence, Part Shortage mitigation, Dual sourcing).
• Build and lead a team of other operational support roles that may include technicians, component engineers, administrative staff, etc.
• Travel Requirement – travel to Silvus headquarters as well as other offices as needed.
• Perform other relevant duties of which the above are representative.

Director of Hardware Engineering Operations

• Automate firmware deployment pipelines using gRPC and Python-based automation tools
• Develop self-contained executables for seamless integration into CI/CD build server environments
• Establish automated test criteria to evaluate and report the health of branch commits and merges
• Optimize testing throughput by evaluating and implementing parallel execution of hardware devices
• Design "Software in the Loop" (SIL) interfaces to decouple firmware development from physical hardware
• Build out plant simulators to model physical variables like pressure and temperature
• Develop lightweight data logging and reporting interfaces for SPI traffic and system test results
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement nonlinear mathematical models into simulation environments
