• Develop and maintain responsive, accessible (WCAG-compliant), and scalable front-end applications using React, Next.js, and modern web technologies.
• Build and enhance reusable UI components and micro-frontend modules that deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Implement front-end features and functionality based on Figma designs, ensuring consistency across devices and browsers.

REACT/Next.js Software Engineer

• Design, build, ship, and maintain features across our web application (Vue.js 3/Nuxt 3/TypeScript), with contributions to our backend APIs (.NET/C#/Web API), that serve 160,000+ monthly active users
• Build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using Vue.js 3, Nuxt 3, and TypeScript
• Provide technical leadership and expertise across projects, offering architecture guidance, system design recommendations, and best practices
• Own significant technical areas end-to-end, from database schema design to frontend UI, taking initiative to identify improvements and drive them to completion
• Collaborate closely with Product and the Development Manager to shape the technical roadmap and prioritize engineering initiatives
• Debug and resolve production issues using monitoring tools like New Relic and Sentry, participating in an on-call rotation to ensure system reliability

Senior Software Engineer, Frontend/Vue.js

• Own the standards for how we develop, test, and release code across our web platform. You'll lead collaboration across multiple teams, establishing practices that keep our systems secure and reliable while raising the bar for code quality and usability across the organization.
• Build and evolve Afresh's Corporate Hub—the web platform that gives corporate stakeholders visibility into store-level ordering performance and centralized control over replenishment configurations, display policies, and ordering strategy at scale.
• Partner with Product, Design, Account Management, Support, Operations and peer engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions that serve client needs.
• Contribute to the vision of the next generation Ordering product and its supporting systems.
• Step into a mentorship role to guide junior/mid-level engineers, foster technical growth, and conduct thoughtful, constructive code reviews.

Senior Software Engineer, Frontend – React

• Lead the development of intuitive, modern user interfaces using React, ensuring accessibility and performance in a browser-based environment

• Build data-dense desktop interfaces for Ford V&V (Validation and Verification) engineers, supporting diagnostic data exploration, telemetry visualization, and AI engine output review
• Develop real-time wall-mounted dashboard interfaces for Ford manufacturing quality teams, optimized for high-visibility display environments with live data refresh requirements
• Integrate all UI components against TOP platform backend APIs and AI engine response structures, collaborating closely with the Cloud Backend and Services Engineer on API contract definition
• Implement responsive, accessible design standards across all user populations, accounting for varying device types, screen sizes, and operating conditions
• Maintain and evolve Ford's TOP platform design system, ensuring visual consistency and component reusability across all interface surfaces
• Participate in user research and usability testing sessions with dealer technicians, V&V engineers, and manufacturing team members, translating findings into iterative UI improvements
• Implement frontend observability including error tracking, performance monitoring, and user interaction telemetry
• Collaborate with the QA and UAT Engineer to define and execute frontend acceptance testing, ensuring UI components meet defined acceptance criteria before deployment
• Maintain frontend build and deployment pipelines within Ford's GCP environment and GitHub organization

Front-End Developer – Telemetry and Observability Platform

• Resolve complex, escalated incidents and service requests through advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Partner with Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 4 support teams to drive issue resolution, providing mentorship and guidance.
• Actively participate in change management activities and support reliable service delivery throughout the change lifecycle.
• Maintain operational stability through scheduled system health checks, routine activities, and alert triage.
• Analyze recurring issues to support problem management and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.
