Financial Planning and Analysis

• Define and drive the technical roadmap for the embedded finance platform : scalability improvements, architectural modernisation, and tech debt resolution
• Lead the adoption of AI-assisted engineering across Reap's Product Engineering teams — from AI-augmented development workflows (e.g., Claude Code, LLM-assisted code review) to agentic automation of repetitive engineering processes
• Work closely with Card Engineering Managers to align platform direction with product delivery needs, and provide hands-on technical guidance on complex problems
• Identify systemic engineering quality issues and build the case — and the plan — to address them
• Serve as a technical anchor for senior engineers across the Card domain: conducting design reviews, setting standards, and mentoring
• Lead architecture review and modernisation of embedded finance systems — service boundaries, data models, API contracts, event flows
• Identify and resolve scalability bottlenecks before they become production constraints
• Define reusable patterns and standards that Card Engineering teams can build on
• Drive platform initiatives end-to-end: from RFC through to production delivery and stability
• Conduct systematic audits of technical debt across the codebase
• Prioritise and sequence debt remediation alongside product delivery work
• Advocate for and lead refactors that have long-term impact on engineering velocity and reliability
• Lead Reap's AI adoption strategy at the engineering team level — defining what "good" looks like for AI-assisted software development
• Build and maintain reusable AI tooling, prompt patterns, and SDLC workflows (e.g., CLAUDE.md standards, agentic code review, automated test generation)
• Identify engineering processes where AI can reduce toil and improve quality — and drive those improvements into practice
• Track and report on AI adoption signals across Product Engineering teams
• Work closely with Card EMs to shape platform roadmap priorities and resolve technical dependencies
• Conduct architecture and design reviews for high-impact initiatives
• Set engineering standards for code quality, observability, testability, and reliability across the Card domain
• Mentor Staff and Senior engineers; elevate the technical bar across teams

Staff Engineer, Embedded Finance – AI

• Own end-to-end financial reporting for a designated business line, from transaction capture through to month-end close and management reporting.
• Drive the monthly close process for your business line, including journal entry preparation and review, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and balance sheet substantiation.
• Build and maintain reconciliations between source and the general ledger, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Develop and automate reporting workflows, leveraging SQL and data tools to extract, transform, and load financial data.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition and cost allocation in compliance with IFRS, particularly for complex transaction types involving multi-currency flows, stablecoin settlements, interchange, and fee structures.
• Prepare management reports and analysis for your business line, providing insights on performance trends, margin drivers, and variances against forecast and prior periods.
• Support external audit and regulatory requirements by preparing schedules, responding to queries, and maintaining documentation that meets PwC audit standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, operations, FP&A) to understand business changes, new product launches, and their accounting implications.
• Strengthen internal controls and standard operating procedures for your business line's reporting processes, ensuring operational effectiveness and compliance.

Finance Manager – Senior Financial Analyst, Business Line Reporting

• Coordinate the group reporting and consolidation process, working closely with the Reporting Lead to ensure all entities and business lines are closed accurately and on schedule each period.
• Manage and develop the business line reporting team, overseeing the Finance Managers / Senior Financial Analysts who own individual business lines.
• Provide technical guidance, review their work, and ensure consistency in methodology and quality across the group.
• Own the group consolidation workpapers, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, tiered sub-consolidation and top-level Reap Group consolidation.
• Drive the month-end and quarter-end close calendar, setting deadlines, tracking progress, and resolving bottlenecks.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of reporting across all entities, establishing and enforcing group accounting policies, chart of accounts standards, and reporting templates.
• Design and implement reporting process improvements, identifying opportunities to automate consolidation steps, streamline intercompany reconciliation, and reduce manual adjustments.
• Prepare and review group management reporting packages, including consolidated P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and segmental analysis.
• Support statutory reporting and regulatory filings across multiple jurisdictions, coordinating with local finance teams and external advisors to ensure compliance with local GAAP / IFRS requirements and filing deadlines.
• Contribute to special projects such as investor reporting, new entity setups, and ERP system enhancements as they arise.

• Serve as a key strategic partner to the Principal and Executive Committee
