Field Engineer

• Technische ondersteuning van herstellingen aan industriële tandwielkasten
• Begeleiden van het volledige repair-proces: technische analyse, demontage, rapportage, offertevoorbereiding en orderopvolging
• Fungeren als first point of contact voor klanten en interne stakeholders
• Zorgdragen dat elke herstelling technisch correct, transparant en efficiënt wordt uitgevoerd

Service Engineer – Repairs

• In-depth troubleshooting of equipment and interconnected systems (mechanical, electronic, firmware/basic software)
• Repair, reassembly, and adjustments including parts identification and calibration to spec/tolerances
• Execute root cause analysis on recurring failures; propose and implement corrective actions
• Produce complete service documentation (service reports, NCs, test certificates)
• Confident with diagnostic instruments, oscilloscopes, calibration tools, and torque management
• Solid understanding of QMS, CAPA, traceability, EHS/ISO requirements
• Begins taking initiative to improve processes, products, quality, cost-efficiency/profitability, and safety/health conditions
• Has a good understanding of procedures and functional concepts
• Fully masters the repair procedures and product ranges within scope
• Is versatile across multiple product families and contributes actively to the team’s activity
• Performs standard work tasks in addition to field interventions
• Able to identify anomalies and escalate them appropriately to the relevant contacts

Field Service Engineer – Wallonia / Luxembourg

• Configuratie en indienstname van nieuwe veiligheidssystemen, eventueel in samenwerking met onderaannemer(s)
• Programmeren van de beheersoftware op basis van de klantenspecificaties
• Opvolging van de verschillende fasen van de tot u toegewezen projecten
• Beheer van project-technische documenten
• On-site training & advies aan klanten m.b.t. de werking van hun veiligheidssystemen
• Begeleiden van installatiekeuringen samen een erkend keuringsorganisme
• Je rapporteert aan de Field Service Leader

Senior Field Service Technician

• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and corrective maintenance on electrical, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, equipment rebuilds, upgrades, and optimization activities.
• Support equipment installations, commissioning, and start-up activities at customer sites worldwide.
• Deliver technical training to customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting in English, French, and Dutch.
• Diagnose complex automation and controls issues, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
• Follow all JBT Marel and customer health, safety, and food safety requirements, maintaining the highest standards at all times.
• Document all service activities accurately, including reports, findings, recommendations, and improvement opportunities.
• Identify spare parts requirements and recommend upgrades or modifications to improve equipment performance.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
• Collaborate closely with Technical Support, Engineering, Project Management, and Customer Care teams to ensure successful project execution and service delivery.
• Provide flexible support, including weekend work and occasional emergency response activities when required.
