Electrical Engineer

• Provide electrical engineering support and guidance for AUV/ROV systems and present technical concepts regarding product design and performance
• Interface with Systems, Software, Mechanical, Quality, and Manufacturing as part of a team designing AUV/ROV systems
• Technically execute the research and development of new circuit card designs and electromechanical assemblies
• Provide support and execute functional analysis, evaluation, and optimization of product designs
• Present technical results and content to internal and external customers, tailored to the customer audience
• Provide technical support to key subcontractors and suppliers
• Create and maintain power and endurance budgets through development phases
• Provide technical support for manufacturing related matters
• Perform design verification efforts
• Support cost/benefit trade-off analysis and feasibility studies
• Support electrical related failure analysis of hardware
• Contribute to system level design considerations and trade-offs where many engineering disciplines are concerned.

• Participate in the design and development of electrical construction documents, including layouts, details, and specifications.
• Engineer complete building systems—lighting, power distribution, and specialty electrical systems—across a variety of project types.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, civil engineers, and other disciplines to deliver integrated building solutions.
• Engage with clients, support proposal development, and contribute to business growth.
• Perform advanced analysis, calculations, and design evaluations for electrical power and lighting systems.
• Use Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD to produce construction drawings and design electrical systems, including device layouts, circuiting, lighting, and panel schedules.
• Review project requirements and coordinate with other disciplines to refine design strategies and respond to evolving project conditions.
• Participate in client meetings, assess project needs, present design concepts, and adjust plans to meet client expectations.
• Communicate technical and program information clearly to team members, management, and clients.
• Define scope of work, conduct site inspections, and ensure quality and compliance throughout the design process.
• Coordinate or perform field work to gather data and verify existing conditions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of government, military, and industry standards.
• Conduct internal technical reviews and quality control checks on project deliverables.
• Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Edit and review technical specifications and contribute written narratives for project documentation.
• Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and perform site visits during construction.
• Prepare design fee estimates for proposals and RFPs.
