Electrical Engineer

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution networks supporting critical infrastructure
• Drive Power Innovation initiatives, including the integration of automation, real-time monitoring, energy storage, and advanced control systems
• Apply and enhance safety practices, including arc flash mitigation, fault detection, and protection systems
• Provide technical expertise in power distribution, electrical schematics, and system design for both new construction and upgrades
• Manage engineering projects from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and business objectives
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (e.g., NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE)
• Analyze system performance and reliability, identifying opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions that meet operational and business needs
• Mentor and support the development of engineers, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing
• Influence engineering standards, technical strategy, and decision-making (Staff-level expectation)

Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Innovation

• Provide professional engineering services in support of the Federal Aviation Administration Logistics Center (FAALC) mission
• Perform investigative technical evaluations and studies necessary to complete information requested
• Support Program Office activities to ensure supply support activities are complete
• Complete engineering studies related to testing, modification, design, and other requirements on equipment
• Provide technical expertise, materials, and fabrication effort to design, install, test, and evaluate equipment
• Provide technical and logistical support as required
• Create and maintain databases, spreadsheets, forms, and software applications as required
• Perform miscellaneous engineering tasks as assigned.

Electrical Engineer I

• Develop, coordinate, and execute comprehensive system-level test plans, procedures, and schedules
• Lead and coordinate integrated testing activities and ensure complete test coverage by reviewing and validating test requirements
• Perform technical analysis of complete systems and prepare thorough system-level evaluations
