Electrical Engineer – Mission Critical, Data Centers

• Chosen candidate will join the Sentinel Systems Engineering, Integration, & Test (SEIT) Business Unit’s System Integration & Sustainment (SIS) Operating Unit and contribute to the Weapon System Integration (WSI) Electrical Design Integration (EDI) Team.
• This role will support the EDI Team with electrical system design, cross-segment integration, verification activities, and analyses for systems and subsystems.
• Candidates must be able to understand the intent of Weapon System designs and the engineering processes.
• The successful candidate will clearly demonstrate foundational electrical engineering knowledge with verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Responsibilities may include: May perform research, evaluation, and systems integration in electrical or electro-mechanical systems, cables, connectors, circuit card assemblies, power systems, computer systems, test equipment, and more.
• May create, assess, interpret, and recommend changes to engineering drawings.
• May apply research to the planning, design, development, simulation and testing of electrical systems for use in military applications.
• Support analysis at all levels of total weapon system product lifecycle to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation and maintenance.
• Responsible for supporting the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions as well as the translation of customer requirements into electrical design specifications.
• Perform system modeling and simulation efforts and related design tasking to include technical whitepapers, presentations, stakeholder demos, etc.
• Support consistent design and testing processes across the weapon system.
• An active learner of new design techniques and technologies.
• Ability to organize and prioritize job assignments and tasks.
• Assist in determining unit-under-test test requirements and then translating those requirements into a test and repair operational environment.
• Possess interpersonal skills to work effectively to understand system level interdependencies that impact electrical requirements and design constraints.

Electrical Engineer – Principal Electrical Engineer

• Chosen Candidate will join the Sentinel Systems Engineering, Integration, & Test (SEIT) Business Unit’s System Integration & Sustainment (SIS) Operating Unit and contribute to the Weapon System Integration (WSI) Electrical Design Integration (EDI) Team.
• Support as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Weapon System Electrical Design Integration Team, responsible for integrating all segment and lower-level team’s designs.
• Understand the intent of Weapon System design and drive engineering processes & analyses into specific product team designs.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and foundational systems engineering skills to drive process and technical gap resolution of interface and requirement design solutions.
• Develop and implement modeling solutions, conduct trade studies and evaluation of system and subsystem performance.
• Collaborate with technical leadership on system requirements generation and associated flow down, subsystem design/analysis, and subsystem performance verification including lab and flight testing.
• Assist with the planning, coordination, and analysis supporting system and subsystem development, integration, test, production, and support flight test operations.
• Attend internal program, customer and/or supplier technical exchange meetings and/or formal program milestone reviews.
• Perform the test design process along with the design, analysis and fabrication of specialty test equipment required for environmental testing and handling.
• Collaborate with other IPTs to define test objectives and requirements for test activities in the system integration labs.
• Manage the internal & external electrical interfaces and develops the corresponding system-level interconnect/block diagrams, grounding diagrams, electrical schematics and global connectivity list for the weapon system.
• Manage hardware command and telemetry implementation and verify electrical connectivity implementation.
• Develop electrical system architecture alternatives in concert with the broader systems engineering effort.

Staff Electrical Engineer

• Supporting design requirements for electrical power generation, conversion and distribution systems
• Attending internal program, customer and/or supplier technical exchange meetings
• Working in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations
• Ensure appropriate coordination between facility electrical design and other integration teams
• Integration and documentation of electrical systems designs for the weapon system
• Coordinate electrical system engineering content and work products
• May perform research, evaluation, and systems integration in electrical or electro-mechanical systems, cables, connectors, power systems, test equipment, and more.

Associate Electrical Engineer – Electrical Engineer

• Flow to work as part of the Value Steam Engineering Optimization Team.
• Expected to be able to support converting and manufacturing activities across all of Family Care.
• In the event of escalation, assist AO teams to return assets to target results.
• Drive the development and execution of the OEE plans for assets.
• Coordinate and lead targeted onsite action plans.
• Provide hands-on assistance to onsite teams.
• Significant presence at the tissue manufacturing mills is expected.
• Support and implement strategy deployment process for capacity and capability liberation supporting the Intimate Care and Facial Tissue OEE Strategy, Supply Chain Priority Initiatives, and Cost Transformation requirements.
• Provide technical leadership of sector-wide initiatives that improve Supply Chain OEE.
• Effectively collaborate with a cross-functional team that includes R&D, Supply Chain, mill operations, procurement, equipment suppliers and external service providers.
• Partner with mill teams keeping a customer focused mindset.
• Maintain and grow technical and scientific expertise in areas of industrial software, drives, and controls.
• Be able to communicate impact of developments on Kimberly Clark processes.
• Implement the documentation and report of unit work as required by KC policy, effective communication, protection of proprietary information, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide leadership by example in corporate safety, quality, regulatory, product safety and sustainability.
• Ensure that all elements of the corporate Human Resources Development policy are fully supported.

Senior Electrical Engineer – IC, Facial

• Lead and contribute to the design of electrical systems, including interior/exterior lighting, power distribution, grounding, lightning protection, telecom, and security infrastructure
• Perform and document design calculations to ensure compliance with applicable codes and client specifications
• Conduct quality control reviews of design documents, including drawings, specifications, and calculations
• Collaborate with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to meet project schedules and deliver complete, coordinated design packages
• Review and respond to contractor RFIs, shop drawings, and product submittals, ensuring design intent is maintained
• Participate in client meetings and design reviews, providing technical input and supporting project delivery
• Support the development and refinement of internal design standards and best practices
• Assist in mentoring junior engineers and designers, contributing to team growth and knowledge sharing
• Other duties as assigned

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers (Electrical, Mechanical, Test, Systems, Software, Firmware) to develop an electrical power system
• Provide guidance and support for the team, in a hands on role, as they work on many power electronics projects (batteries, power converters, motor controllers, power management and distribution)
• Ensure project completion is on schedule and within budget while meeting all system requirements

Electrical Engineer – Branch Lead

• Contribute to the design and development of electrical power subsystem components including spacecraft batteries, solar arrays, efficient power distribution and conversion electronics, and wire harnessing
• Develop and maintain electrical power subsystem component requirements and documentation
• Contribute to detailed trade studies that result in selecting optimal mission-suitable subsystem hardware
• Conduct thorough electrical module analyses, including Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA), part stress analysis, signal integrity, power integrity, and Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
• Develop components that conform to the system power quality specification
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with the vehicle electrical power system components
• Continuously update knowledge on latest industry trends and advancements in space vehicle power systems
• Collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary engineering teams, contributing to a culture of technical ambition and operational excellence
• Contribute to technical artifacts for subsystem and program gated reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, etc.)
