• Design and develop smart manufacturing and AI solutions in advanced factory scheduling, optimization and simulation that enable the achievement of industry leading manufacturing capability.
• Develop high quality data analytics and applications that give insights and drive actions to enable management and manufacturing teams to make the right decisions.
• Explore new frontier ideas, concepts and technology and apply it to Micron to enable breakthrough solutions.
• Work with management, different departments, and global manufacturing sites to identify optimization opportunities and deliver solutions to continuously improve production metrics.
• Drive global collaboration, alignment, and benchmarking of scheduling and simulation solutions.

Senior Data Scientist, SMAI OI

• Develop systems to optimize operational performance across manufacturing platforms.
• Design, build, and deploy predictive models related to equipment utilization and performance enhancement.
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities for both short-term and long-term planning.
• Build and deploy LLM-based AI solutions to support fab operations, enabling smarter decision-making and improved operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with PMs, IT, and Core AI teams to drive cross-functional AI initiatives.
• Build interactive dashboards and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making.
• Work within the GCP environment for model training, deployment, and maintenance.
• Explore and implement MLOps, AutoML, and other advanced techniques to enhance model performance and reliability.

Senior Data Scientist

• Employ techniques and theories drawn from areas of mathematics, statistics, semiconductor physics, materials science, and information technology to uncover patterns in data
• Interact with experienced Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Business Areas Engineers, and UX teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis projects
• Help develop software programs, algorithms and/or automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources
• Perform exploratory and new solution development activities
