Lead Crypto & Tech Policy Associate

• Advise clients on non-financial risk frameworks for digital assets, including governance, risk taxonomies, and control environments.
• Support the design and implementation of risk and control frameworks across digital asset lifecycle processes (issuance, trading, custody, settlement, and reporting) with a specific focus on distribution, product governance and fund operations.
• Assess and enhance digital asset process flows, identifying key risks and defining indicative controls.
• Evaluate and map client journeys across digital asset use cases, such as: Tokenisation of assets and funds, Investing in digital assets and cryptocurrencies, Stablecoin payments and settlements
• Advise on operating models and target control environments for digital asset use cases for wealth and asset managers.

Senior Consultant, Digital Assets, Wealth and Asset Management

• Define the digital-assets strategy for the business area, ensuring it’s aligned to divisional priorities and Group strategy.
• Act as a primary interface between the Digital Finance Lab and product, coverage and platform teams, identifying customer opportunities where digital assets can enhance outcomes across key domains such as payments, liquidity, trade, lending and treasury services, alongside retail banking, wealth and investment solutions, pensions and insurance.
• Shape end-to-end value propositions, from customer need through to product design, delivery and adoption, while supporting senior collaborators by clearly articulating commercial value, customer impact, risks and delivery pathways.
• Ensure solutions are built to be safe, secure and resilient, and aligned with regulatory and risk expectations, translating emerging technologies into clear customer benefits and commercial outcomes.
• Support decision-making through strong storytelling, insight and evidence-based recommendations, and ensure propositions meet customer, conduct and regulatory expectations.

Strategy Manager – Digital Assets

• Facilitate and contribute to the development of the strategic approach across the wider Group’s ECP community
• Manage engagement with the Digital Assets Lab, ECP Platform and 2LOD ECP teams to understand risks associated with Digital Wallets, Tokenised Deposits, Digital Assets and Stablecoins
• Contribute to the identification of controls required and steps to develop these, including changes to processes, technology and operating models
• Support the implementation and embedment of amended or new controls
• Manage relationships with key internal customers and act as their business partner
• Work with the ECP Policy, Strategy and Oversight teams to identify changes required to Policy, standards and methodologies
• Support the training and upskilling of colleagues in Digital Finance
• Support the adoption of technology to enable effective monitoring of blockchain
• Support the development and implementation of a framework to manage economic crime investigations into payments made using digital assets

Digital Assets Manager

• Set strategic direction for Economic Crime Prevention (ECP) oversight of Digital Assets, aligning to Group risk appetite, policy and regulatory expectations.
• Lead and coach a specialist team, setting priorities, delivery plans and clear accountability across product, change and BAU activity.
• Own delivery of the ECP control framework for Digital Assets (e.g., digital wallets, tokenised deposits, stablecoins), from design through implementation and embedment.
• Partner with product, engineering, operations and the Digital Assets Lab to translate economic crime risks into practical requirements (processes, technology, operating model).
• Define and oversee financial crime risk assessments across the customer/product lifecycle (AML, sanctions, fraud), including inherent risk, control design and residual risk.
• Drive requirements and adoption of monitoring and detection capabilities for blockchain activity, wallet flows and tokenised transactions, including alerting, case management and MI.
• Lead engagement with 2LOD ECP, Compliance and other assurance functions to secure challenge, sign-off and evidence of control effectiveness.
• Ensure policy, standards and methodologies are updated for Digital Assets (e.g., BECRA/CRA), and that changes are implemented consistently across impacted areas.
• Oversee regulatory submissions and responses (where required), ensuring accurate documentation, traceability of decisions and robust control evidence.
• Represent the business at relevant governance forums/committees, calling out issues, risks and dependencies and recommending clear actions.
• Manage key partner relationships and act as ECP business partner for senior leaders, providing advice on control outcomes, delivery status and residual risks.
• Build ECP capability across Digital Finance through training, playbooks and knowledge sharing, ensuring colleagues understand new risks and control requirements.

Senior Manager, Digital Assets

• Define and manage the crypto plan (Policies, registers, audits, incident management process and governance).
• Ensuring they are kept up to date in line with JSP490/IS4 updates and in full compliance with UK national standards.
• To ensure defined escalation pathway and action any suspected or actual breach of security in line with national and company policy.
• Investigating and reporting crypto incidents or compromises, liaising with authorities as required.
• Management of cryptographic items to include controlling, storing, accounting for, and disposing of cryptographic material (physical and digital) throughout its lifecycle across multiple sites.
• Maintenance of accurate records, inventories, and logs in line with national regulations and L3Harris requirements.
• Devise an effective tracking system for all cryptographic items on their charge and undertake internal musters.
• Responsibility for ensuring Suppliers understand and comply with national regulations and L3Harris requirements.
• Provide international support to L3Harris’ growing base of customers in respect of provision, return and repair of cryptographic materials.
• Ensuring compliance with international Export Control restrictions in place for cryptographic materials.
• Supporting accreditation and assurance activities for cryptographic systems to include leading internal audits and external inspections.
• Addressing findings and implementing corrective actions as required.
• Working with Operations and internal stakeholders to provide Key and Cryptographic material in line with Customer requirements and manufacturing timelines.
• Lead and provide SME guidance to business stakeholders to include briefing, debriefing, and training users to ensure they understand crypto responsibilities, alongside clear governance process.
• Promoting awareness and training to embed a culture of crypto security across the organisation.
• Develop and maintain close relationships with External and Customer stakeholders, providing SME guidance as required.
• Acting as the Point of Contact for the UK Authorities on cryptographic matters.
• Manage assigned team members ensuring effective tasking, compliance and delegating responsibilities where appropriate.
• Provide opportunities for learning and development.
• Manage the Crypto Authorisation and annual re-certification of cryptographic staff ensuring provision meets business requirements.

Crypto Custodian

• Provide independent oversight across the Group’s Digital Asset developments, including tokenised deposits, stablecoins, digital wallets, and wider blockchain propositions.
• Act as a subject matter expert on associated regulatory requirements, staying ahead of new developments and industry best practice.
• Use this knowledge to support regulatory applications and advise on evolving compliance requirements.
• Build relationships with colleagues and understand their operations.
• Help them to identify and assess risks relating to Digital Assets and support them in the design and evaluation of the respective controls.
• Support the adoption of the Group’s new Payments and Transaction Execution Risk Policy, help the business to embed it and provide timely and insightful oversight - all in line with the Operational Risk framework.
• Advocate for customers through concise, commercially sensitive advice to business areas on policy interpretation and regulations, utilising deep business expertise to co-create fantastic compliant solutions for customers and the Group working closely with the business.
• Act as an operational risk specialist and represent the organisation, building relationships with external partners; in particular regulators and other governing bodies.
• Champion continuous review and enhancement of risk policies & appetite through the identification & assessment of emerging & growing risks.
• Ensure policies and appetite reflect new opportunities or threats.
• Contribute to the coordination of core Operational Risk processes, including scenario and loss analysis, and coordinate input into key regulatory submissions and external disclosures (e.g. ICAAP).
• Develop and operate tools and systems enabling Business Units/Functions to consistently identify risks and evaluate the robustness of respective controls.
