• Ensure creative excellence when delivering work for clients
• Create visual social media assets for TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube and other social media channels
• Manage social content photo and video shoots
• Brainstorm inventive content ideas and apply new formats that promote engagement
• Capture and communicate brand stories through social media

Content Creator, TikTok – Temporary Worker

• Develop and facilitate workshops for educators to pass the NY State Teacher Certification Exams
• Collaborate with curriculum developers and program directors
• Create asynchronous online modules and synchronous workshops for math content and pedagogy
• Design sessions in Canvas and conduct workshops via Zoom

Secondary Math Teaching Fellow, Content Developer and Instructor

• Pitch, film, edit, and publish short-form content for our TikTok + Instagram
• Post 1-2 videos a day consistently across social platforms
• Turn daily deals on Pepper into scroll-stopping videos that help viewers discover Pepper and convert them into users
• Develop and test creative variations of top-performing formats (hooks, scripts, pacing, thumbnails)
• Monitor content performance and iterate weekly based on what’s working (and what isn’t)
• Manage & respond to comments/DMs across assigned accounts in a timely & helpful manner
• Assist with creating and curating high-quality visual assets (IG stories, carousels, thumbnails, etc)
• Stay on top of trends and regularly bring ideas to team meetings

Junior Content Creator

• Own day-to-day content strategy and creation for LinkedIn and YouTube, with opportunities to expand into additional platforms over time
• Create platform-native content, including short-form video and visuals
• Develop a recognizable and consistent brand presence across social channels
• Monitor engagement and performance, using insights to refine content direction
• Support executive social media strategy and employee advocacy
• Create engaging, agile, and high-impact video content across channels (LinkedIn, YouTube, short-form clips, behind-the-scenes, storytelling formats)
• Partner with the broader Marketing team to execute webinars, consulting on webinar concepts and formats
• Develop post-event content strategies that extend the impact of each session well beyond the live moment, including repurposed assets across social, email, blog, and web
• Help refine and evolve how the Blackthorn brand shows up through content and media across owned channels
• Translate company strategy, product value, and customer insight into clear, compelling narratives
• Bring forward creative ideas, content series, and new formats — and test what resonates
