• Create scroll-stopping social-first content that’s on-brand and platform-native using the latest generative tools across TikTok, Instagram, Twitter/X, YouTube, Discord, and more.
• Demonstrate skillsets in AI creative tools for video, image, and audio generation.
• Translate creative strategy into breakthrough visuals and assets—video, static, animation, memes, design, illustration, carousels, remix formats, and more.
• Ability to edit short-form content with story, vibe, rhythm, and comedic timing, blending AI-generated assets with traditional footage.
• Understand platform algorithms, communities, and formats. Know what makes great hooks.
• Stay current on social platform evolutions, creator content, and digital visual styles to ensure everything feels relevant and cutting edge.
• Work with the creative team to concept and execute content ideas that are bold, original, and tuned to clients’ culture and voice.
• Contribute to the ideation and development of real-time/reactive content that taps into current trends, creator moments, and internet conversations.
• Develop content templates, toolkits, and repeatable frameworks (including AI prompts and workflows) to help scale output efficiently.
• Take ownership of assigned projects from kickoff through execution, while collaborating across departments and teams.

Social Content Creator – Temp to Hire

• Own day-to-day content strategy and creation for LinkedIn and YouTube, with opportunities to expand into additional platforms over time
• Create platform-native content, including short-form video and visuals
• Develop a recognizable and consistent brand presence across social channels
• Monitor engagement and performance, using insights to refine content direction
• Support executive social media strategy and employee advocacy
• Create engaging, agile, and high-impact video content across channels (LinkedIn, YouTube, short-form clips, behind-the-scenes, storytelling formats)
• Partner with the broader Marketing team to execute webinars, consulting on webinar concepts and formats
• Develop post-event content strategies that extend the impact of each session well beyond the live moment, including repurposed assets across social, email, blog, and web
• Help refine and evolve how the Blackthorn brand shows up through content and media across owned channels
• Translate company strategy, product value, and customer insight into clear, compelling narratives
• Bring forward creative ideas, content series, and new formats — and test what resonates

• Develop, review, and edit Social Studies assessment tasks, including multiple-choice and technology-enhanced items
• Participate in all activities related to Social Studies assessment development, including forms development and special projects
• Lead, manage, and develop item writer training and assist in recruiting and training external item writers
• Use content authoring and other technology tools to create, track, and edit items
• Facilitate, and provide assessment expertise and guidance at virtual subject matter expert committee meetings (e.g., content review, fairness review, data review, etc.)
• Ensure assessments align with relevant standards and meet high-quality content and statistical specifications
• Engage in continual quality improvement to ensure fairness and accessibility of Social Studies assessment content
• Work with psychometricians to analyze psychometric data and ensure test fairness, reliability, and validity
• Support and collaborate with existing Social Studies team
• Participate in all Social Studies planning and scheduling activities and all phases of the assessment development workflow
• Coordinate and collaborate with other members of the GEDTS Assessment Services Team, including the Senior Director of Assessment Services, Test Development Manager, other assessment content developers, project managers, and psychometricians
• Coordinate and collaborate with other GED and Pearson areas and teams, as required
• Conduct program and industry-related research as required
• Support cross-content GED® initiatives as needed

Content Developer

• Lead and facilitate content development in mathematics across middle school, high school, and early college levels
• Develop, review, and edit mathematics assessment tasks, including multiple-choice and technology-enhanced items
• Ensure appropriate high school end-of-course rigor and complexity in mathematical items
• Facilitate and provide mathematics assessment expertise at virtual subject matter expert committee meetings (e.g., content review, fairness review, data review, etc.)
• Ensure assessments align with relevant mathematics standards and meet high-quality content and statistical specifications
• Work with psychometricians to analyze data and ensure test fairness, reliability, and validity
• Coordinate multiple assessment development activities and adapt to changing priorities
• Manage timelines, resources, and deliverables for complex mathematics assessment projects
• Lead, manage, and develop item writer training programs and assist in recruiting external mathematics content developers
• Coordinate with cross-organizational teams to design and develop innovative AI-powered mathematics tutorials that support learners
• Lead content development for initiatives integrating artificial intelligence into adaptive learning systems for personalized mathematics instruction
• Collaborate with product and technology teams to implement AI-driven assessment and tutoring solutions
• Work closely with the Test Development Manager, Senior Director of Assessment Services, other subject area content leads, psychometricians, and Pearson/GEDTS groups
• Represent GEDTS at conferences and professional mathematics education events
• Support cross-content GED® initiatives and collaborate with existing mathematics teams
• Conduct program and industry-related research in mathematics assessment and AI applications
• Coordinate with technology and product teams to implement innovative mathematics learning solutions
