Communications

• The Signals and Communications Foreman will report to the Supervisor or Superintendent responsible for the geographical location of the assigned project.
• The Signals and Communications Foreman will work together with the Signals and Communications team and local client representatives to manage and direct an assigned crew of employees to deliver successful projects by exceeding corporate and client objectives while ensuring the safety of all employees.
• The Signals and Communications Foreman works with the assigned Signals and Communications Maintainers and Apprentices to organize and manage daily work and all other related activities to project including installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing railroad signaling and communications equipment as well as emergencies and track outages.
• The Signals and Communications Foreman assists other S&C personnel in the completion of their daily assigned activities while remaining focused on safety and creating a zero-incident safety culture.

Railroad Signal & Communications Foreman

• Draft compelling web copy, executive announcements, employee messaging, and video scripts for mixternal (internal and external communications); to include interviewing employees and subject matter experts to write copy and engage stakeholders.
• Design basic graphics, infographics, and slide decks that align with our corporate brand guidelines.
• Capture and edit short-form video content for various campaigns.
• With support from department leadership, manage the corporate LinkedIn page and employee advocacy program.
• Create content for the news section of the website, including identification of topics, research of material, and creation of published content.
• Assist in the development of thought leadership content, including, but not limited to white papers, website articles, and third-party media articles.
• Assist in the rollout of corporate-wide change initiatives or other programs, working closely with departments like HR and Operations to effectively package information and communicate key change initiatives.
• Maintain and update internal communication platforms (intranet, SharePoint, Teams) to keep employees informed and connected.
• Monitor digital engagement and reach on messaging across platforms.
• Maintain a library of brand assets (photos, logos, templates) for company-wide use.

Multimedia Communications Specialist

• Own the end-to-end communication strategy for process servers, including app updates, policy changes, onboarding touchpoints, and performance-related messaging
• Develop and implement structured communication plans that replace ad hoc outreach, ensuring messaging is clear, timely, and coordinated across teams
• Translate complex operational and compliance information into clear, concise, and actionable messaging for a non-desk workforce
• Design and deliver onboarding and training content tailored for independent contractors, using accessible, flexible formats (e.g., short-form, mobile-friendly content)
• Audit and continuously improve educational content, focusing on what drives real behavior change rather than content volume
• Manage and maintain the knowledge base, ensuring all process server–facing resources are accurate, up to date, and easy to navigate
• Identify and act on operational feedback signals, including support ticket trends, content gaps, and areas of confusion, and translate insights into content or process improvements
• Partner cross-functionally with teams such as Support, Product, and Operations to align messaging, sequence communications, and ensure consistency
• Collaborate with Engagement & Retention partners to support community initiatives through clear, consistent messaging that reinforces tone and brand
• Prepare internal teams for external communications by providing context, messaging guidance, and toolkits to ensure a seamless support experience
