• Installing, programming, and maintaining complex communication equipment to get customers up and running.
• Fixing the system if things go wrong and bringing communications back online to public safety, hospitals, utilities, manufacturing, and other mission-critical customers.
• Designing and upgrading customer systems to the latest technologies and solutions.
• Assisting and collaborating well with the team, Service Manager, and customer.
• Demonstrating a willingness to learn and be mentored on a new technology in communications and equipment.
• Completing assigned tickets properly and on time.
• Making minor modifications to electronic circuitry per customer request and/or deploying factory software/firmware updates.
• Serving in an on-call rotation and providing 27/7 technical support.

Communication Systems Technician I

• Define and maintain clear, prioritized technology roadmaps for Communications & Sensing aligned with Boeing Business Unit Strategic Capability Needs, Technical Requirements, and long-range business plans
• Manage an IRAD/innovation portfolio advancing emerging capabilities and enabling transition into air, space, sea, and weapons domains for multiple Boeing Business Units
• Drive disciplined development approaches such as rapid prototyping and gated reviews to accelerate transitions, maintain technical rigor, and manage risk, cost, schedule, quality, and safety
• Shape capture strategy by integrating market, customer, and competitive insights with technical differentiation to craft compelling, executable solutions
• Provide accountable technical and program leadership to ensure delivery of funded efforts on cost, schedule, and performance objectives
• Forecast, recruit, and manage personnel; plan and schedule facilities, equipment, tools, and services; review and approve facility and equipment plans ensuring safety, security, environmental, and regulatory compliance
• Cultivate and maintain productive relationships with customers, stakeholders, suppliers, and partner teams

Senior Communications & Sensing Manager

• Provide accountable technical and program leadership to ensure delivery of funded efforts on cost, schedule, and performance objectives.

• Cultivate productive relationships with customers, stakeholders, suppliers, and partner teams.

• Own the end-to-end communication strategy for process servers, including app updates, policy changes, onboarding touchpoints, and performance-related messaging
• Develop and implement structured communication plans that replace ad hoc outreach, ensuring messaging is clear, timely, and coordinated across teams
• Translate complex operational and compliance information into clear, concise, and actionable messaging for a non-desk workforce
• Design and deliver onboarding and training content tailored for independent contractors, using accessible, flexible formats (e.g., short-form, mobile-friendly content)
• Audit and continuously improve educational content, focusing on what drives real behavior change rather than content volume
• Manage and maintain the knowledge base, ensuring all process server–facing resources are accurate, up to date, and easy to navigate
• Identify and act on operational feedback signals, including support ticket trends, content gaps, and areas of confusion, and translate insights into content or process improvements
• Partner cross-functionally with teams such as Support, Product, and Operations to align messaging, sequence communications, and ensure consistency
• Collaborate with Engagement & Retention partners to support community initiatives through clear, consistent messaging that reinforces tone and brand
• Prepare internal teams for external communications by providing context, messaging guidance, and toolkits to ensure a seamless support experience
