• Perform visual inspections and condition assessments of structural systems.
• Evaluate foundations, framing systems, load-bearing elements, roofing systems, and other building components.
• Identify structural deficiencies, deterioration, and seismic vulnerabilities.

• Support long-term capital planning and asset management initiatives.

• Support early-stage efforts including floodplain, seismic risks and geotechnical due diligence reviews
• Review grading and earthwork plans to drive efficiency and minimize dirt movement
• Assist with rights-of-way, easement, and coordination of external infrastructure and utilities including water, sewer, electrical, and communications
• Review stormwater and environmental management plans and permitting
• Interpret local codes, permitting requirements, and regulatory constraints to confirm compliance.
• Advocate for and review for sustainable civil engineering practices
• Participate in technical reviews of site layouts, utility planning, and access routes to support logistics and operational requirements
• Assist in the development and review of construction documents, RFIs, and field change proposals during execution.
• Attend coordination meetings with consultants, general contractors, and client representatives to resolve design issues and align on technical solutions.
• Contribute to the refinement of technical specifications, design standards, and quality benchmarks for civil scopes
• Identify and document lessons learned from each project to support continuous improvement of civil review processes, coordination workflows, and technical standards.
