Business Intelligence Developer

• Influence business decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to decision-makers.
• Bridge the gap between those doing self-service analytics as business users and those doing advanced analytics as data scientists.
• Organize data and create dashboards/reports using visualization tools and internal databases.
• Utilize statistical methods for data analysis and insight development
• Interface with the business to understand data needs and translate that to the target data set and project
• Collect, aggregate, and analyze data from multiple internal and external data sources
• Produce actionable reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement into current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems.
• Work in conjunction with other GTS teams, improving data transparency and enabling businesses to make more trustworthy business decisions.
• Responsible for bringing together information from different source systems into consolidated data structures.
• Builds strong working relationships with numerous cross functional teams.
• Analyzes current and past trends in key performance indicators.
• Explains causes of unexpected variances in trends.
• Performs Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis, compiles and prepares reports and graphs.
• Analyzes various data elements to assist with improving Key Performance Indicators.
• Integrate, consolidate and cleanse data for use in analytics applications.
• Explore the suite of Google AI tools for use as part of creative problem solving, data analysis, insight development and delivery.

Intermediate Business Intelligence Analyst

• Use Qlikview, QlikSense, SQL Server Management Studio, Oracle SQL Developer, and other tools to create applications and data models for reporting needs.
• Develop reporting application scripts that import data from various sources.
• Identify inter-departmental dependencies and downstream impacts of changes within reporting applications.
• Recognize and suggest alternative data solutions when applicable.
• Communicate effectively and work closely with a variety of users to develop in BI applications, validate effectiveness, and conduct user testing.
• Adapt quickly to changing reporting requirements and new BI tools in a rapidly evolving, high-growth organization.
• Facilitate in ongoing data validation to ensure data integrity and reliability.
• Collaborate with other teammates to deliver effective solutions.
• Initiate collaborative relationships with business stakeholders and IT.
• Research, suggest, and contribute to brainstorming development opportunities.
• Identify and provide insights into streamlining analytics processes and research improvement opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned.
