Business Analyst

• Establish and drive requirements gathering activities
• Organise and facilitate requirements workshops
• Create user personas and user journeys
• Creating documentation i.e. use cases, user stories, prototypes, wireframes, proposals and strategy documents
• Collaborate with Product Management and Product Ownership team to ensure value is being created and delivery backlogs are groomed and maintained.
• Influencing change that increases team performance at a sustainable pace.
• Building and promoting an open, trusting and respectful team environment; facilitating discussion, collaborative decision making and conflict resolution
• Providing support to the team(s) using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example.
• Organizing and facilitating daily stand-ups, requirement estimation, sprint & release planning, demos and other related team meetings.

Senior Business Analyst

• Support digital design and delivery, acting as a key conduit between Cubic’s functional teams and customer stakeholders
• Clarify requirements, identify solutions aligned to product constraints, and support defect triage and prioritisation using industry standard techniques and methods
• Extract, analyse, and report business data to inform decisions and improve performance
• Drive the design and implementation of solutions to enhance business efficiency, optimising end-to-end processes and supporting information integration
• Manage delivery across multiple locations to deliver a national ticketing solution
• Collaborate with regional and city councils for localised projects
• Manage client expectations by defining scope, documenting and clarifying requirements, and supporting project execution
• Engage, coach, and provide functional leadership to project teams to deliver in line with schedules
• Establish and maintain robust digital delivery processes, including requirements traceability, feedback loops, and progress reporting
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend solutions based on business and technical fit, supporting innovation and problem solving
• Prepare and deliver performance reporting against SLAs and KPIs, including insights and analysis
• Develop and maintain system documentation (specifications, processes, work instructions, training materials)
