Revenue Cycle Auditor, RN

• Supports the Coding and documentation quality assurance (CDQA) team's responsibilities.
• Implements and ensures compliance with coding policies and procedures.
• Performs and manages internal audits or reviews for compliance/quality monitoring.
• Develops and presents educational programs for coding compliance.
• Audits and trains for corrective action plans related to coding and billing.
• Conducts systematic internal audits via medical record and charge ticket review.
• Maintains accurate, complete, and timely documentation.

Auditor/Educator

• Performing clinical, billing, coding and lowest cost setting reviews for services pre and post payment
• Utilizing medical, contractual, legislative, policy, and other information to validate claims submitted and billed
• Conducting research and preparing documentation of findings
• Consulting with medical directors as needed
• Coordinating with all departments involved in each case required
• Performing itemized bill review for high dollar claims and reimbursements
