Auditor

• Provide internal audit, audit response, and internal control support for Department of Justice financial management activities.
• Support financial statement audit efforts by serving as an audit liaison, coordinating documentation requests, preparing evidence packages, and supporting sample responses.
• Conduct internal control testing, process walkthroughs, control design reviews, and maturity assessments to evaluate compliance, effectiveness, and operational risk.
• Perform root cause analysis for audit findings, NFRs, control deficiencies, and recurring audit issues.
• Maintain audit request logs, evidence indexes, document repositories, and crosswalks to source documentation to ensure timely, complete, and accurate audit responses.
• Develop, track, and support corrective action plans, remediation activities, and audit readiness initiatives.
• Support continuous monitoring, compliance assessments, and opportunities for controls automation and process improvement.
• Prepare audit reports, executive summaries, dashboards, metrics, and status briefings for government leadership.
• Coordinate across financial management, accounting, budget, internal control, and program offices to validate evidence, resolve audit issues, and support sustained compliance.
• Apply federal audit and internal control standards, including Yellow Book, GAO Green Book, OMB Circular A-123, FMFIA, and FFMIA.

Financial Audit Response Analyst – Internal Auditor

• Support and strengthen engagement in major programs, global partnerships, and trust funds related to sustainable landscapes, climate finance, mitigation, and markets, including serving as a principal representative on governance bodies and exercising rigorous oversight and high‑level representational responsibilities.
• Shape, coordinate, and implement policy on international climate change and related cross‑cutting issues, with particular emphasis on sustainable landscapes, REDD+, agriculture and land-use issues, nationally determined contributions (NDCs), mid‑century strategies, climate finance, and market-based mechanisms.
• Design and drive country-level ambition and implementation strategies for priority countries—especially in the Amazon, Congo Basin, and Southeast Asia—to advance high‑impact, measurable outcomes on forest conservation, land‑use governance, and emissions reductions.
• Conceptualize, develop, and negotiate proposals to shape international and bilateral programs, ensuring that the allocation and use of funds are strategically aligned with and demonstrably advance organizational climate and development objectives.
• Support participation in UNFCCC negotiations and other key international fora by contributing to negotiating positions, drafting text, coordinating internal inputs, and engaging with international counterparts to advance strategic interests and priorities.
• Support the design, management, and implementation of climate-related assistance programs, including development of results frameworks and robust monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems for grants and initiatives focused on sustainable landscapes, REDD+, climate-smart agriculture, and carbon markets.
• Draft and refine high‑quality memos, speeches, position papers, decision memoranda, talking points, meeting readouts and summaries, correspondence, and other strategic communications to articulate, defend, and advance climate policies, priorities, and strategies with senior leaders and external stakeholders.

Auditor – Sustainable Landscapes Specialist

• This is a full-time position working with our food safety auditing program for retail grocery establishments.
• This individual will be a skilled and experienced auditor for established regulatory, industry, and customer brand standards around food safety, workplace safety, and facility standards.
• Managing Diversey’s businesses within their assigned territory.
• The TAS will survey, install, maintain and/or repair chemical dispensing platforms at customer sites.
• This individual will be responsible for delivering the value proposition and meeting contracted service level agreements for primarily Retail, kitchen, and housekeeping applications.
• The TAS must build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• This position uses emerging electronic technology for communication, reporting, and auditing.

Food Safety Auditor

• Conduct internal audits and reviews of ARPA-H programs, processes, and operations.
• Develop audit and review planning memoranda, including objectives, scope, methodology, and timelines.
• Coordinate with ARPA-H offices and divisions to obtain documentation and information necessary to support audits and reviews.
• Analyze operational, financial, and programmatic data to assess internal controls, identify risks, detect anomalies, and evaluate compliance.
• Prepare final audit and review reports, including findings, conclusions, and recommendations, to improve compliance, internal controls, and program or process effectiveness.
• Recommend corrective actions and process improvements to support compliance with governing laws, regulations, and established policies.
• Develop and refine internal processes, metrics, trend analyses, and risk mitigation approaches.
• Review and proofread internal and external policies, instructions, and guidance documents to assess impacts on ARPA-H and the Comptroller Office, and to support compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Research complex issues, synthesize information from multiple sources, and provide analytical support and improvement recommendations aligned with organizational priorities.
