2D Artist

• - Lead the UI team, design and iterate UX and drive the UI/UX deliverables for the project
• - Build a UX strategy for a brand-new game, helping to shape the UX vision in collaboration with experts from the Design team
• - Drive the delivery and quality of the UI for the project, mentoring and supporting UI designers, artists, and technical designers
• - Proactively manage team performance and development through regular feedback and performance reviews
• - Guide the creation of high-quality UI, ensuring this meets both the artistic vision and technical constraints
• - Take ownership of UI design documentation, helping to define style, usability goals, and player experience
• - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help define and evolve workflows, pipelines, and long-term UI/UX goals

Lead UI Artist

• Define and guide the creation of high-quality concept art across key content areas, including characters, environments, props, and visual storytelling elements.
• Work closely with the Art Director to interpret and extend the project’s visual vision, translating it into clear, actionable concept direction.
• Act as the primary concept point of contact within the project, ensuring alignment between Art Direction and concept delivery.
• Lead and support the concept team within the project, providing clear direction, feedback, and guidance to ensure consistent, high-quality output.
• Mentor and develop artists at all levels, supporting progression, capability building, and leadership growth where appropriate.
• Take creative briefs and explore a wide range of visual solutions, refining them into strong, production-ready directions.
• Establish and communicate clear visual targets, benchmarks, and supporting material to guide concept artists and downstream teams.
• Break down high-level creative direction into modular, production-ready concepts aligned with modelling, animation, design, and implementation requirements.
• Provide high-level feedback across teams, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment of concept work across all areas.
• Collaborate closely with design, production, and other art disciplines to ensure concept work supports gameplay, narrative, and technical constraints.
• Represent the concept discipline in project planning, reviews, and cross-team discussions, supporting alignment and decision-making.
• Support planning, scoping, and prioritisation of concept work in collaboration with Production and project leadership, ensuring alignment with delivery needs.
• Contribute hands-on concept work where appropriate to establish quality benchmarks and resolve complex visual challenges.
• Support teams in managing outsourced concept work, ensuring clear direction, effective feedback, and alignment with project standards.
• Identify and contribute to improvements in workflows, pipelines, documentation, and discipline practices, supporting efficiency, clarity, and quality across the project.

Principal Concept Artist

• Find opportunities to bring exciting new gameplay hooks to characters within the game.
• Develop and oversee the player's combat mechanics, weapons, and abilities.
• Work closely with animators, gameplay programmers, and other teams to prototype and implement combat features.
• Take character designs through a full development cycle from concept to release.
• Use metrics, player feedback, and a multitude of diverse analytics to improve and refine the design.

Character Designer

• Reports to the Lead Artist.
• Works with the UI/UX Designer, develop the visual style of the user interface, produce target visuals alongside market research around the genre and themes.
• Works with the design team to define the functionality and feature requirements for UI.
• Works with UX to produce and integrate functional user interface with common rules and a clear hierarchy of elements using shapes, colour, fonts, line weight and fx.
• Collaborates with the team from concept to completion, ensuring that the vision is maintained across the whole production process.
• Helps to achieve milestone goals, estimate work, capture stories, sub-tasks and flag production risks.
• Produces well thought-out and clear documentation to share your work and strategy/thinking.
• Works closely with the engineering team to ensure smooth implementation, uphold the design vision and maintain quality throughout.

UI Artist

• Reporting to the Lead Artist and liaising with the game team.
• Create a variety of concept art aimed at AAA stylised world art assets, including props, scenery, and vehicles.
• Ability to show clear and elaborate breakdowns for a 3D artist to follow and understand.
• Quickly create and iterate ideas through collaboration with the Art Lead and Art Director to help problem-solve and meet the artistic style required.
• Work closely with the Design and Art teams to help break down technical challenges through your concept and production art.

Senior Environment Concept Artist – Freelance

• - Design and implement user interfaces across various gaming platforms, focusing on usability and visual appeal
• - Create wireframes, prototypes, and detailed mockups that clearly convey design concepts and functionality
• - Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and programmers to ensure seamless integration of UI design within the game engine
• - Develop icons, text, menus, and HUD elements that enhance player interaction and experience
• - Iterate on UI designs based on team feedback, user testing results, and industry best practices
• - Maintain consistency in style, quality, and user experience across all interfaces
