• Create highly detailed, photorealistic matte paintings that integrate seamlessly with practical set builds and CG environments
• Collaborate with the VFX Art Director and Lead Environments Artists to develop and refine visual beats
• Render 3D images and elements that are visually compelling and optimized for integration
• Use studio-provided suite of digital tools to produce environments, landscapes, skies, and set extensions
• Work efficiently within production timelines, delivering high-quality assets ready for final compositing
• Ensure flawless integration of matte paintings into both set-based plates and CG shots
• Provide guidance and feedback to artists, ensuring the team maintains high standards of quality and consistency when necessary

Digital Matte Painter – Stop Motion VFX Project

• Collaborate with Art Director and creative leadership to expand artistic vision of established IP
• Create both 2D and 3D concepts as required to produce a variety of assets with a focus on characters but has the versatility to design tools, vehicles and environments
• Create 2D assets to be used in-game as well as key art
• Create storyboards that can be used to visualize narrative and cinematics
• Curate in-depth knowledge of game universe with an eye for immersion
• Develop ideas rapidly and provide workable variations based on technical constraints
