About the role
- Partner closely with product managers and stakeholders to discover and define product roadmap
- Champion bottom-up innovation and bring novel ideas and research to influence strategic direction
- Own research and development lifecycle from end-to-end; implement and test hypotheses rapidly
- Establish and evangelize research standards and best practices for AI agent evaluation
- Mentor and enable other scientists and engineers; explain technical landscape to non-technical stakeholders
- Own complex product areas and guide teams through ideation to implementation, experimentation, and reporting
- Keep up with latest NLP/ML advancements and introduce new concepts
- Participate in peer review and collaborative research discussions
Requirements
- Strong track record of Machine Learning or NLP research, ideally in a senior industry role
- Deep knowledge of building deep learning neural network architectures, with a focus on NLP
- Significant experience with LLMs, Prompt Engineering, and AI Agent Context Management
- Experience with conversational AI and voice technologies (TTS and STS) is a huge bonus
- Positive, proactive, and team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
