About the role
- Identify and engage new regional litigation attorneys, adjuster counsel, and legal project buyers
- Collaborate with Regional Managers (RMs), Managing Partners (MPs), and technical leads to map legal services industry networks
- Work with consultants, engineers, and other team members to ensure effective execution of initial assignments
- Facilitate communication between business development and operations to support client needs
- Participate in regional planning with Marketing and cross-functional teams to prioritize target firms and contacts
- Align business development activity across service lines to avoid overlap and ensure clarity
- Educate prospects on YA’s litigation, construction defect, appraisal, and related service offerings
- Attend legal events and pursue leads with high-potential prospects and targeted attendees
- Lead follow-up efforts for first-time buyers and support firm-level relationship development
- Maintain accurate records of outreach, meetings, and pipeline in CRM
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, marketing, or a similar field or equivalent years of experience required
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management
- Familiarity with legal or professional services
- Proven ability to deliver high-impact, client-focused service through exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
