Responsible for planning and delivering work against our strategic plan.

Lead stakeholders through process improvement discussions or challenging implementation cycles.
Build expertise in the functional workstreams, measuring and understanding the organization's abilities and constraints to inform strategic plans.
Coach teammates from cross functional teams, share lessons learned and thought leadership to elevate performance.
Serve the needs of the project teams.
Lead the planning and implementation of multiple project plans and programs while ensuring stakeholder alignment on project scope, budget, resource plan, key milestone management, and risk management.
Responsible for change management and communication plans throughout the program’s lifecycle.
Own regular status reporting and communications with internal and external teams and WVU Medicine executives for programs.
Indirectly lead a team of internal and external project management professionals.
Contribute thought leadership across WVU Medicine workstreams and mentor junior project managers.
Manage third-party vendor contracts and work efforts under several workstreams.
Direct activities across multiple cross-functional teams and proactively manage dependencies.
Escalate issues and impacts to delivery timelines and work proactively with teams to support project execution.
Develop and track delivery metrics for project teams and champion lessons learned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain or related field.
Eight (8) years of experience leading projects in Human Resources Operations, Finance Operations or Supply Chain Operations
Master’s degree in a related business area or field of study (preferred)
PMP certification (preferred)
Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred)
CBAP certification (preferred)
Ten (10) years of experience leading projects in Human Resources Operations, Finance Operations or Supply Chain Operations (preferred)
Hands-on experience in leading a small team; including recruiting and developing the staff
Demonstrated excellence in developing program-level roadmaps and transparent reporting to executive stakeholders.
Acute attention to detail and exemplary communication & organization skills.
Ability to plan and deliver programs in a blended Agile and more traditional Waterfall development environments.
Flexibility to help teams execute without perfect processes or overbearing administrative activities & checklists.
Proficient with using enterprise-wide ERP systems such as Lawson, Oracle or Workday. Workday experience is preferred
