About the role

Manage product delivery of Wolter’s Kluwer Passport enterprise legal management product
Work across multiple work streams and cross functional teams
Manage a team of 5-10+ engineers and responsible for delivery of product on-time with superior quality
Plan and estimate work, design and craft technical solutions, participate in code reviews, set and implement coding standards
Foster DevOps culture to ensure efficient automated build, test, deploy, and monitoring
Partner with Product Management in planning, estimation, risk escalation, mitigation, delivery, and support
Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching/mentoring to direct reports
Produce high quality software and participate in continuous improvement
Mentor senior and associate software engineers
Ensure operational and employee related escalations are properly managed and resolved
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (B.E. or B. Tech.), Computer Science or Engineering with equivalent credentials
Minimum of 7 years of development experience in Java and Javascript front-end technologies such as React/Angular
Minimum of 2 years of experience managing small to medium sized teams
Experience in Web development with client-side scripting languages
Extensive experience using and managing GIT-based source control systems to drive continuous integration and delivery
5+ years’ experience building Azure native applications
Extensive experience with agile development methodologies and processes
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement
Strong strategic thinker with experience creating and executing strategies
Experience leading teams in researching new and emerging technologies
Ability to oversee multiple project deliveries in parallel
Comfortable operating in fast-paced, dynamic environment
