About the role
- Solve internal queries posed by CT BL team members related to knowledgebase issues and licensing nuances across all industries
- Provide rapid and accurate answers so that adjacent teams are able to fulfill client orders and move projects toward completion
- Identify areas of need in the BL Knowledgebase and proactively plan necessary actions in conjunction with the Manager
- Assist in drafting regular client reports and publish auxiliary reports
- Act as team ambassadors, communicating frequently with other departments and providing training when necessary.
- Maintain task status updates so team members are abreast of the status of inquiries
- Communicate directly with external government agencies to assist with business license research inquiries
- Concisely convey findings to team members via verbal and written correspondence
- Add new and updated license information to the BL Brain Knowledgebase following internal task completion
- Actively monitor 'Knowledge Recapture' source channels, respond to recapture notifications, and effectuate recapture of knowledge
- Conduct sweeps of BL Brain knowledge to identify and remedy outdated, missing, or new information
- Collaborate with Marketing on public facing web material
- Assist with structural maintenance, data migration, and troubleshooting related to the BL Brain Knowledgebase
- Assist with internal cross-team training efforts
- Provide overflow assistance to adjacent teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 3 years of experience, preferably in research, legal, or knowledgebase management
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate with government agencies, colleagues and supervisors
- Ability to identify and report on weak points in stored knowledge and proactively remedy missing pieces
- Ability to adapt to changing regulatory environment
- Ability to work independently, handle pressure, multi-task and prioritize work at all times
- Excellent organizational and communication (both verbal and written) skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet or exceed deadlines
- Outstanding skills using personal computers in a Windows-based environment (including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe PDF)
- Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy and consistency
- Are located within 50 miles of an office and can work a hybrid schedule, being in a Wolters Kluwer office 2-days a week.
