About the role

  • Build and deploy backend services that support AI-powered agents, using tools like GPT-4, Claude, and orchestration frameworks.
  • Develop retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems using tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar.
  • Integrate vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant) for document search and long-term memory.
  • Collaborate with frontend (React) and backend (Laravel/PHP) teams by exposing secure, scalable APIs.
  • Deploy and manage services using AWS infrastructure (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, IAM).
  • Ensure strong data security and user role permissions throughout the system.
  • Continuously optimize performance, reliability, and safety of AI features.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of engineering experience
  • Strong skills in Python (FastAPI) or Node.js
  • Familiarity with large language models via APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic)
  • Experience using LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar for building AI workflows and agents
  • Hands-on knowledge of vector search and embeddings, ideally with Pinecone or comparable tools
  • Strong understanding of AWS services and security practices
  • A user- and data-conscious mindset when building conversational tools
  • Comfort working in cross-functional teams across product, design, and infrastructure
