About the role
- Process optimization: Planning and development of efficient manufacturing and assembly processes in the automotive industry
- Feasibility analyses & Process FMEA to ensure quality, schedules, and costs
- Commissioning & production start-up of equipment, including preliminary acceptance at the machine supplier and final acceptance at the plant
- Interface between project team, production, engineering and plant/equipment manufacturers
- Lean production & continuous improvement of manufacturing processes
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Production Engineering
- At least 3 years of professional experience in process development or production planning (ideally in the automotive sector)
- Solid knowledge of assembly processes for electromechanical products
- Experience with Lean Production, FMEA and process optimization methods
- Very good German and English skills and willingness to travel (approx. 25%)
