About the role
- Uses desk research and available data to identify and solicit topical content
- Oversee the strategic direction of special content in an assigned subject area
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of ideas and ongoing projects
- Collaborate with Deputy Editors, Editors in Chief, Publishers, and external editors
- Drive strategic content acquisition aligning with company objectives
- Maintain attention to detail and quality of acquired content
- Utilize analytical skills and data-driven insights for decision-making
- Build and nurture relationships within research communities
- Represent the company in conferences and workshops
- Increase journal visibility through social media promotion
Requirements
- >3-Year experience working with the research community or STM publishing organization in Health Science, Life Science, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Geosciences, Ecology etc.
- Preferably have a higher degree (PhD/MSc)
- Possess strong analytical skills and experience making data-driven decisions
- Are skilled at networking with an ability to build relationships within research communities
- Are detail-oriented and results-driven and have strong organizational skills to track multiple projects
- Are willing to travel, especially domestically
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
