About the role

  • Uses desk research and available data to identify and solicit topical content
  • Oversee the strategic direction of special content in an assigned subject area
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of ideas and ongoing projects
  • Collaborate with Deputy Editors, Editors in Chief, Publishers, and external editors
  • Drive strategic content acquisition aligning with company objectives
  • Maintain attention to detail and quality of acquired content
  • Utilize analytical skills and data-driven insights for decision-making
  • Build and nurture relationships within research communities
  • Represent the company in conferences and workshops
  • Increase journal visibility through social media promotion

Requirements

  • >3-Year experience working with the research community or STM publishing organization in Health Science, Life Science, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Geosciences, Ecology etc.
  • Preferably have a higher degree (PhD/MSc)
  • Possess strong analytical skills and experience making data-driven decisions
  • Are skilled at networking with an ability to build relationships within research communities
  • Are detail-oriented and results-driven and have strong organizational skills to track multiple projects
  • Are willing to travel, especially domestically
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
