About the role
- Report directly to Senior Vice President of Strategy and sit within the Chief Strategy Officer organization
- Own and drive a portfolio of strategic projects including business strategy, market research and analysis, priority setting, and execution planning
- Partner across commercial, product, finance and operational teams
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex business and corporate strategy projects with matrixed stakeholders
- Conduct in-depth analyses of market trends, competitive landscapes, and potential risks and opportunities
- Develop and evaluate strategic options using financial modeling and scenario planning techniques
- Support, train, mentor and upskill more junior members of the Strategy Team
- Facilitate strategic planning process and develop presentations for Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors
- Partner with Office of the CEO to track and measure performance of strategic initiatives and recommend course corrections
- Travel ~20-30% annually
Requirements
- An MBA or equivalent degree in business, economics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in corporate strategy, business development, or a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience in corporate strategy, business development, or similar roles
- Comfortable with ambiguous, ever-changing situations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
- Travel is expected ~20-30% annually
- Bonus points: 5+ years at a top-tier Strategy firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain)
- Bonus points: Experience in B2B Payments, particularly open-loop economics, technologies, and commercialization
