About the role
- Manage the financial health of projects
- Work closely with the Project Management team, Business Development, and other departments to accurately record and report financial data
- Serve as the financial expert in client interactions
- Collaborate, educate, and challenge teams to ensure sound financial practices
- Escalate financial concerns through appropriate channels
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in a financial role within a CRO environment is preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, as well as databases and accounting systems
- Strong analytical skills and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with complete discretion
- Self-starter and eager to learn
- Strong influencing and challenging skills when necessary
- Understanding of financial aspects of projects from bid tool to project closeout
