About the role
- Analysis of current demand for prototype printed circuit boards (PCBs) in electronics development
- Research and evaluation of procurement options (prototype manufacturers, volume suppliers, rapid delivery services, etc.)
- Comparison of lead times, costs and technical capabilities of different suppliers
- Development of decision criteria for when each type of procurement is appropriate
- Investigation of ways to accelerate the ordering process (e.g., through tools, platforms, automated requests)
- Preparation of a recommendation or guide for efficient prototype procurement
Requirements
- Enrolled students in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field of study
- Interest in procurement processes and supply chains in hardware development
- Analytical thinking and a structured, independent way of working
- High level of motivation and strong communication skills
