About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage onboardings with counterparties to deadlines provided; escalation point of contact for other analysts
  • Amend trading agreements (ISDA, MSFTA, MRA, Futures, Swaps Clearing, etc.)
  • Maintain milestone updates on open requests for transparency and metrics reporting & complete core tasks such as completion of regulatory adherences on behalf of clients
  • Coordinate documentation and communication between clients, the firm, and counterparties
  • Act as a control to ensure required information has been provided by clients
  • Maintain records across systems (Salesforce, HighGear, S&P Global platforms, etc.)
  • Lead analysis exercises (client optimization, broker/instrument utilization)
  • Partner with stakeholders to scale business and identify areas of opportunity or education
  • Work with vendors on capability enhancements and issues to drive transformation
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of industry and regulatory developments, changes with respect to counterparties and derivative reforms

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 4 years buy or sell-side experience in derivatives onboarding
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or related field
  • Experience in derivatives onboarding across core OTC instruments (bilateral and cleared)
  • Expertise in investment management operations and workflow processes; change management a plus
  • Ability to synthesize, condense and convey complex information to key stakeholders in clear, digestible terms
  • Experience in successfully training others in Derivatives Onboarding requirements
  • Service oriented; ability to balance policy standards with a business perspective
  • Strong business judgment and analytical skills; Tableau experience preferred
  • Deadline focused, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and issues concurrently
  • Ability to identify, research and resolve unfamiliar issues
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
  • Demonstrated success leading projects and working effectively in working groups; ability to clearly define a business problem and create a solutions roadmap
